Reach didn't have "experience" per say. It was just "play the game and get credits," with no real reward outside of cosmetic things. And the more credits (more games) you play the higher you level up. I think they really focused on fine-tuning this faux XP Bungie did.

...well actually, "good enough" may be correct, since they're changing the whole dynamic of leveling up. It's not just "play the game and get credits" like in Reach, you actually have to pull off headshots and killing sprees to gain experience.

...the 7-inch screen is a big difference, though. I don't see it *replacing* the iPod Touch, especially as a portable media player. It's too big to be luggin' around for music and a few apps, maybe some browsing here or there.

Watched it again last night. Headless Christina Hendricks brought a tear to my eyes.

I can't see myself lugging a 7" tablet around when I just wanna listen to music and use a few apps. I don't think the mini is gonna replace the Touch that easily.
