Man, I cringe whenever I see that (also: The Lego Batman Movie) having seen Wonder Woman three times so far and being someone who usually sits through the credits.

The HIMYM finale is such a train wreck. If that was the finale they planned all along (having filmed it in the first season so that the kids wouldn’t age) couldn’t they have planned that last season so that Ted and Robin start to see how a relationship could have worked for them, but only because the pressure is off

i know sometimes an executive producer is just the person who called the production company exec and said, ‘Hey, I know this talent who has a great idea for a show, will you meet with them?’

That’s a good point, Hallmark’s repeats are huge for them (Golden Girls, Murder She Wrote and I Love Lucy). I remember a few years ago, they tried to turn their daytime block over to Martha Stewart and Hallmark viewers revolted. (It included a talk show hosted by Alexis Stewart with a “friend” she seemed to barely

Yeah, maybe not technically correct but they’ve made a joke of how they never have someone who can play Sulu in Star Trek parodies so they’ve ended up using the same tech guy over several decades. That’s just pitiful.

A horror story about a Jim Jones-style cult leader would be a pretty apt reaction to the election. I’m a little fascinated by Jones since it sounds like a big part of his appeal was that he made a good show of pretending to do something to help combat inequality on various fronts (which, sadly, is why a lot of his

You just made me realize that there’s probably an idea for an American Horror Story season where Chuck Cunningham has been kidnapping all those missing sitcom kids and forcing their parents to pretend they never existed.

I would subscribe to CBS All-Access if they greenlit that as a spin-off show. Maybe, like Lou Grant, it can be a spin-off that switches genres and this can be a thriller about her staying one step ahead of people who are about to uncover her true identity.

Also, the fuck up on K of Q were hilarious. One minute Carrie had a sister and then ... poof. Gone. One minute they had a dog that just appeared out of nowhere and then... poof. Dog gone. One minute Doug and Deacon never knew each other and then you find out Carrie went to school with his wife. The show was rife

It’s the same unnamed disease that killed the mother on How I Met Your Mother so that she can get out of the way of Ted being with Aunt Robin.

Ooooh, good pick with Hannah John-Kamen. She is one of the few people I’d accept trying to fill Lucy Lawless’ shoes.

I know a few gay guys who watch a ton of Hallmark movies because of some hot guy they will watch in anything. The network specializes in casting hunky guys who are just under-the-radar enough to do a Hallmark movie but still well-known enough to have a bit of a following.

Yeah, I don’t begrudge anyone who enjoys those movies (unless they’re trying to get me to spend time I could be watching OITNB watching Hallmark instead) but they drive me crazy how all the plots could be from one Mad Libs sheet.

The cast of W&G are great but the scripts seriously relied on their charisma. So many episodes had Will and/or Grace being just awful people just to get conflict, sometimes being awful in ways that contradicted previous episodes.

This might be what finally gets me to watching Crazy Head... tho that will probably have to wait until I’ve caught up on all the Hollyoaks I missed (at least until John-Paul gets his happy ending) while Hulu wasn’t carrying it.

Yeah, I’m trying to remind myself that Coel having a story she wants to tell is much more important than my desire to spend more time around Tracy and her pals and family... especially since I was just commenting on Heroes over at io9.

FWIW, it’s not easy for a customer to spot that you’ve raised prices, especially if you’re a fancy restaurant.

There’s a local fast food chain that usually ends up in the news whenever the minimum wage goes up as ‘the other side’ because they pay their workers above minimum wage anyway and so they usually are being interviewed saying “It’s no big deal for us, we’re currently paying more than that anyway.”

I should get to checking that out!
