Would she? When she was at Deadline that site used to bait hard to get Drudge to link to them. I hoped that would change after she left but the site went on to worry about all those white actors losing jobs due to diverse casting.

So I was rewatching Chewing Gum the other day and something compelled me to look up something on IMDb and I noticed that season two is currently airing in the UK! I hope that means it’s arriving on US Netflix soon! (The season wraps on Feb 16, so that’s the earliest it’ll arrive here.)

I did not know that about KJ Apa! I’d add that the guy who plays Reggie is biracial Asian. So we got two API actors playing sexy lead characters, a welcome development on the network that also gives us Crazy Ex-Girlfriend with Victor Rodriguez III.

I agree with your theory, especially since Riverdale has Archie and Miss Grundy hooking up. That kind of story would be a lot grosser if Archie looked like an awkward 16-year-old and not a young adult.

Yes and this statement made today will be used by trolls to claim he has no animosity towards queer people.

There was also a twitter thread where someone said the account includes mistakes common to someone who learned english from TV/pop music after being raised with a language that didn’t use the english alphabet

Baby Daddy is not a good show but the guys are cute and they all have that adorable Andy Dwyer quality, so its watchable.

Okay, I can’t find the link but as much as I dislike Dr. Phil, he wins me over because he gave Elizabeth Warren her first national spotlight, giving people financial advice. (I’ve found a few articles on it but not the one that really gives good detail on how her Dr Phil appearances shaped the fierce consumer advocate

I’ve read on other gossip sites that when he joins an existing show, he has a tendency to push hard for the focus to shift to his character. I just remember Brothers & Sisters became barely-watchable when his character arrived.

Aw, that’s terrible. At least I can transfer my crush to Derek Theler

P&R used him well but I learned to hate him on Brothers & Sisters which immediately became all about his character, who was one of those non-existent sensible, centrist Republicans who is always more sensible than the stupid minority who is just hysterical about being an equal that TV loved for a while.

Chiming in late from the greys so this probably will go nowhere but I thought I’d ask, when has gaming handled the Holocaust responsibly? The one example I can think of is I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream (though the parts dealing with the Holocaust easily could have been taken out of context to invoke outrage) which

Even better, they did so many versions of the logo:

The biggest ‘what if’ in my head wishes wonders how things would have gone if the Democrats had a vigorous primary with newer voices competing for the nomination and voters not being overshadowed by a huge number of superdelegates.

I still say the bigger problem was that there was no plan to deal with the antipathy towards Clinton, aside from lecturing people that those feelings were invalid. (They were invalid but that doesn’t change people’s minds, not even Trump’s all-time high levels of incompetence couldn’t overcome that antipathy.)

You made me think of a story a college friend used to tell. Her aunt had a goat name Sally and when she’d visit, her aunt often fed her things made with goat milk, calling it Sally-cheese or Sally-yogurt. One day, she went to visit and her aunt cheerfully served Sally-burgers and my friend ate them, not realizing what

I hope so. However, this kind of pushback is also part of the war. We shouldn’t be silent about this because sometimes a part of the next battle comes when someone like Warren or Brown looks at the phone call logs and feels emboldened to vote no the next time.

Except there’s an infrastructure to the Democratic party that is very hard to rebuild from scratch. Better to do what the tea party did and take over the party from within, making that infrastucture useful to progressives. Unfortunately, that requires continuing to pay attention, even after winning the presidency.

Joe Manchin is a fine example of what another Gizmodo writer referred to as (paraphrased) fine if you only care about people who call themselves Democrats winning, terrible if you want to see Democratic ideals enacted. (It was originally said about Evan Bayh but it turns out Bayh couldn’t live up to the first part,

I used to keep track of their later TV appearances and Kyan is (or used to be) a regular on Rachael Ray’s show, either with hair makeovers or pitching styles for x problem (and once doing a segment on male grooming gadgets, I just remember a razor with a telescoping handle for back hair). Carson has been pretty busy
