I hope so. However, this kind of pushback is also part of the war. We shouldn’t be silent about this because sometimes a part of the next battle comes when someone like Warren or Brown looks at the phone call logs and feels emboldened to vote no the next time.

Except there’s an infrastructure to the Democratic party that is very hard to rebuild from scratch. Better to do what the tea party did and take over the party from within, making that infrastucture useful to progressives. Unfortunately, that requires continuing to pay attention, even after winning the presidency.
