Golden axe as a franchise is indeed shitty. It lives on nostalgia for the first arcade game and youtubers love to make videos about that other hidden gem that came way too late on the arcade, but it’s nothing special for an arcade beat’em up. Capcon has 2 dozen beat’em ups that are just as good or better.
