“Forever,” is a mess in katakana English, though. It’s basically made entirely out of sounds that don’t exist in Japanese and need super lossy approximations. I can’t think of ever seeing it used in Japanese English titling or expressions.
It doesn’t matter how good the dubbing quality is, Independence Day dubbed over in Polish or Portuguese is not really Independence Day. It depresses me that there is even a demand for dubbing, anime or otherwise.
The scene in Spirited Away/千と千尋の神隠し where Haku remembers his origin and he and Chihiro are falling from the sky is basically the final word against Dubs.
