You do realize Mack made trucks based off the same platform for an extremely long time used for everything from firetrucks to garbage trucks world wide. The parts for this truck are extremely common, and for certain things that are custom I’m sure they have a guy who knows how to weld somewhere over there.

I do agree with you to some extent. Things like Tom’s Shoes I think are a seriously terrible idea, and they just create problems in the long run (like putting any local cobblers or shoe sellers out of business because someone came in and gave them free shoes).
