@MysteriousRonin: Great game, but you could also get PSO: Blue Burst for PC and do something similar for servers, right?
@Cobaltios: Already imagining Tao's crazy cat heaven environment... haha
@Duuuuuuude: Lemme know if you can't find all 3 of them. I can hook you up... I actually bought the first couple on eBay after getting the MP3s.
@Duuuuuuude: I loved Wilfred "Snoopdroop" Castillo's Gameboy songs. He's stopped making music, but put it all up for download on his Facebook page.
So, do they not get compensated at all when Sony decides to offer their games for free? Or are they just concerned about new sales, and don't care that they'd be getting a big payout from millions of people "buying" their old games?
@twitwit: Actually, I was speaking generally, but I see my statement can also be taken as absolute.
@twitwit: Yes, it happens mentally, but when someone is reassigned as the opposite sex, it is inevitable that others will notice this because their brain tells them they are being deceived. It's not an excuse to mistreat the individual, but either physical sex being passed off as the other is not natural, and will…
@Carlanga: I'm sure they do see a lot of PS3s go through. I remember when a similar local shop had rows of broken NES, and later SNES machines. I've repaired dozens of Dell laptops, even if that only meant about 1-2% were failing. Macbook Pros as well.
@twitwit: True, but sometimes you have to plan ahead. If he'd come back arguing it was natural, I would question how natural the most severe plastic surgery is since it never occurs naturally.
@Carlanga: Actually, if it doesn't either reach a critical temperature to make the chip fail or the solder melt, and doesn't undergo enough flexing from thermal changes to break what bonds it has (the 360's big weakness - but also made worse by poor lead-free solder, and air bubbles in that solder), then it's not…
@Superfly_CJ: Actually, if you feel unnatural around transsexuals, it means your brain is functioning normally, including the many mechanisms for spotting anomalies in other people. It can't be helped, and that is one thing that someone must weigh when making the choice to have their birth sex altered, as a simple…
@Carlanga: The PS3 is actually one console of many where, if you use it as it was intended, it is reliable. Mine has been upright for about 4-5 years, in a room that sometimes reaches 30-35 degrees.
That's awesome. I kind of miss webpages from that era - like video games of the 70s, they were experimental. No one knew how it "should" look, so we had all sorts of colourful designs and competing layouts.
@PookandPie: I had a lot of fun with "Rondo of Blood" on GBA. You'd get raw element cards with 2... weights? Then you could fuse them with other cards to make higher grade materials, and unlock attacks with each type of material. It was easy to approach casually or in depth I found - depends how much time you wanted…
@BoomingEchoes: That's not untrue, but also not the issue being discussed. Is it really alright for you to be charged for something arbitrarily as long as someone else is doing something worse at the time?
@PSUSkier: Yeah. I imagine some "stabilizers" must have been legit too. I'm not sure if it's a role a conditioner could play, but I know of someone who had to get a unit that draws extra current to boost voltage up to 120 from... 114 or whatever it was in that particular building.
@chamoo232: Cutscenes are far less immersion breaking. This just lets you relish the experience of having your weapons disabled while being caged in a room with robots who can't sense your presence.
It made a big impact on me in Shadow of the Colossus... That was just one of many effects (HDR, self-shadowing, different shader models) that you just wouldn't think possible on a PS2.
Cool... That reminds me of a project a friend and I did in grade 5 or 6... We had to make paper mache puppets built around cardboard tubes, and make a backdrop, then write a little sketch to perform. So we did Mario and Luigi on one of the gun ships in SMB3! That made it a lot more fun...
