I don't know how common this is in shops, but when I did IT work at a college, the auto shop had an old beater PC for every 2-3 automotive workstations. They'd just go look things up directly on the computers while working.

I'd use an iPad if I had one. I used my iPhone to listen to podcasts while changing the oil in my bike - the screen got all oily and greasy, but who cares? It's a slab of glass. When I was done, I wiped it off, then wiped it with a cloth with a bit of soapy water, then clean water. Good as new.

You can also just make a batch file on a flashdrive. Assuming you're in Windows, it'd look something like this:

Or a nerdy version of this...

Krosis mask reminds me of this.

I'll write it Reventón when people start writing Mitsubishi as "三菱". Until then, my keyboard doesn't have those characters, so it's a Reventon.

Makes good sense - have neutral between drive and reverse so you don't reverse by mistake. Have low next to drive because they're both forward, and park on the far end so you just shove it all the way to the start to park it.

It's odd, but I cry more for things that aren't real than things that are. I've found it's more that I have defenses in place for real life. So if I see something especially beautiful, or realize something especially profound, I might cry a bit, but if I hear about something like the death of a relative... I don't cry

It's pretty infamous for it. I haven't seen Clannad, but Natsume Yujin Cho... almost every episode, I'd tear up a bit at the end. Something about the circumstance of the stories gives each one a sort of touching, true to life feel.

You're right, but I think the Genesis' reputation is deserved simply because everyone else walked away from that market. I was looking for a car like the GenCoupe, and at the time I tried Toyota - nothing sporty still in production. I looked at Nissan - but I can't hope to afford a 350z/370z. It's twice as much. I'm

This series of posts you made has been very informative. I own a 2010 2L GenCoupe GT, and while I'd like to hang onto it, it is my only car, and before and after getting it, I've considered an Impreza, so your experience speaks directly to my situation.

Step 2: Open Disk Utility.

In Japan, new (road) drivers have to display this mark for 1 year; it's called the "Shoshinsha mark" or "Wakaba mark." Some put it on their cars outside of Japan - often JDM enthusiasts.

The difference a few hundred km makes! In central Alberta, even indoor humidity draws toward zero, hitting around 30% if I don't run a room humidifier in addition to the house unit!

The humidifier is good. I aim for around 60% RH at home. At work, I'd get brutal shocks frequently - I had shoes that would guard against 600V discharges, so I was like a walking capacitor. I got into the habit of wearing a ring, and then slipping it off, pinching it tightly (lots of surface contact) and tapping it on

I'm wondering a couple of things about photo mode that I'm hoping changed since F3:

I just unboxed a set and tried to test them. I don't know if I've ever used a more uncomfortable set of headphones...

Interesting and fairly balanced assessment. I was getting ready to rebut, but there's nothing too glaring to take issue with - apart from David's corrections about his book below.

It's a small technological leap to closing that gap though. And these days by "leap" I mean whether or not they choose to implement existing tech...
