I'd love to do this, too, in my '46 Dodge WC. Just need the kid to be old enough to sit in the middle of the bench without a car seat of some sort...

    Real Genius FTW

Oh, and did I mention they have one of these:

Just 4 hours south, in the small town of McMinnville, Oregon, is one of the best aviation museums in the area: Evergreen Aviation Museum. They have the Spruce Goose (and no, if you watch Leverage, they don't fire up the engines once a year). They have an SR-71. They have a P-38 Lightning.

Heartbeeps! My brother and I rented that back in the 80s (when we were, ya know, 8 and 10), because it had frickin' robots on it! And, a tank, erm, thing!

Seconded. It's one thing to, today, say that this was obvious. It's another thing altogether to, in 1961, say that cars need to be smaller and more efficient. Have you seen the cars of the '60s and '70s? The domestic automakers cars were huge.

And yet other times...it just plain doesn't exist.

I've said it time and again: The line between bravery and stupidity is very thin, and often blurry.

That's exactly what I was thinking. "Yes, tape would have made more sense...but it wouldn't show up on Jalopnik."

Why not? She already navigates for my sister in stage rally here in the NW. From what I can tell, she's pretty good at it, too.

I thought Cheryl Cole sang "All I Wanna Do"?

    Now playing

Yep, that one is pretty sweet. Here's a vid.

    Sbarro? I LOVE their pizza!

I dunno, I can see it being pretty high. Think about the average cost of a repair for a crashed supercar. Now, the insurance company has to recoup that money from you, and the only way they have to do it is through your monthly payments.

Agreed. I was thinking the same thing, but my guess is that the agreement over the estimate was a "gentleman's agreement" done with a handshake.

Sam I Am was the salesman, trying to peddle the Green Eggs and Ham.

Even better — start out on a motorcycle. Very fast, maneuverable, and easy to ditch.
