    @dadolphson: Check local regs; in some states (Oregon, I believe), yellow lights are legally the same as red lights, meaning an officer can ticket you for entering an intersection on the yellow.

    @Piloter: lol Nice imagery, both on the super offset, and the road trips.

    @Piloter: I like your style...except 14" Volks probably won't fit over the massive braking system. And everyone knows that bigger brakes mean faster lap times.

    @jayway: Oh yeah he still has it, right there in the garage. I keep telling him to get it on the road. Likewise, he should prep one of those 67's for stage rally.

    @Piloter: I guarantee you people drive at about 4/10ths most of the time, so even a slow car can be made to pass much faster cars if you loosen the nut behind the wheel a half-turn.

    @nutbastard: Conversely, for every Prius driver driving like a cock, pulling their MPG up as high as possible by driving at 10+ under the speed limit everywhere and generally making a nuisance of themselves, there's an equal and opposite douche in a C6 flattening the throttle, burning their MPG down to the

    @jayway: I thought so. My memory is fuzzy that far back. All I recall is Mark telling me about corners, wide open throttle, and heroics in the drivers seat.

    @evoCS-Hench-Minion to the stars: I also walk around saying things like "just flip it, stick it, see ya later, bye" and "does your mom still hang around dockside bars?"

    @jayway: Ah, Jay Streets. Didn't my brother co-drive for you in your Corolla at Ojibiwe in 2000? Broke a throttle linkage or something, if I recall.

    The car in the lead-off pic was featured in an episode of Bewtiched.

    @royeraf3: At my company we call the above post a "career-limiting maneuver."

    @Iron-Balls Minardi: It's an awesome site, too, even if they spend too much time on F1 crap.

    @KW802: Not necessarily. Just because they turned the claim into the insurance, and insurance paid them out, doesn't mean the car was totaled.

    There aren't a lot of "mountains" near Monmouth. I'm guessing they're actually in the coast range? Probably on 194 or 223 or thereabouts.

    @owen-magnetic: Huh. My wife dislikes the MG, but she hasn't questioned anything I've bought for it. Then again, I haven't bought anything for it in a while.

    @LuckyChuck: I'm a big fan of the M3, but there's no way an IRS is worth nearly $30k. Don't take this the wrong way, but if that's your only criteria, you're on crack.

    @anastos: I just watched that one. Hey Rick, contact the local AH club and see if anyone has a spare engine they'll sell you for $200. Insert into engine bay, THEN sell it.

    @Matt Hardigree: Well, if you gotta go down, it might as well be in a blaze of glory North of 200mph.

    @m2m: Exactly
