Imagine being so insecure that a fake woman holding a position of authority in a videogame made you uncomfortable. I'm not at all surprised that their celebacy is involuntary.

I would like every reporter to ask that to every member of Congress and the administration who is defending that. “Have you, sir, ever locked a girl in a bedroom and covered her mouth while she screamed?”
These swine have no problem holding eleven year old girls responsible for their imprisonment and gang rapes, but hey seventeen year old boys illegally drinking? Giving other minors alcohol? Sexually assaulting all and sundry? What’s the big deal?
Yeah . . . not seeing the problem with this.
And how is this one not getting on SCOTUS ruining his life? Whoever said that when you’re accustomed to privilege, equality feels like oppression hit the nail on the head.
Seriously, that’s the first thing that came to my mind. The author kind of touches on it with “the worst thing that can happen to a powerful man is to answer for his own action” but it doesn’t even go that far. There has been no threat of a criminal proceedings, removal from his current position as a judge, hell,…
Exactly!
“This man is not getting this very prestigious job due to not qualifying during his job-interview. His life is ruined!”
How does that make any sense?!
Because not sitting on the SCOTUS would ruin his life. He still has a lifetime appointment to another bench. Doesn’t matter what happened to Dr. Ford.
Its going beyond highschool now though. College classmates are coming forward. A colleague will probably come forward soon. These guys don’t grow out of it. They just get better at it. I’ve never heard of a one time abuser. I’ve only met one serial abuser that truly reformed and its only because he treats women like a…
I was blown away when some shill rhetorically asked what high school aged male hasn’t done this in regards to sexual assault. Uhhh...I didn’t. Talk about projecting... My middle-class asian ass would be in jail if I did this. My family would disown me and my kids would deny knowing me and rightly so. I am appalled…
Alcohol is an excuse for men to grope women, but for women, it’s a reason to blame them.
Exactly.
As someone I know said this weekend: “If not getting a Supreme Court seat is having your life ruined, then I’m not sure why the GOP was so anxious to ruin Merrick Garland's life with no accusations of any wrongdoing at all."
Lindsey Graham has been particularly nasty during this entire debacle. Part of me wonders if there’s not something in his past that is making him act this way. Then again, he’s probably just an asshole.
What am I supposed to do? Go ahead and ruin this guy’s life based on an accusation?
Maybe if these women don’t want their sons accused of assault, then maybe their sons shouldn’t go to parties, shouldn’t drink, shouldn’t talk to women, and shouldn’t go around just existing as a male. So, basically what women are expected to do to avoid assault.
Their comments continue to raise the question, “Sir, what have you done?”
Which means, if that’s the new standard, no man will ever qualify for the Supreme Court again
