Yes, you're right, it's not legal for just driving around, it is a press shot, and I admit that I don't know why they do that. I've noticed it in a bunch of commercials in the last couple years. When I rode press motorcycles, they would have the license plate from the state where the U.S. headquarters were located.

They do that a lot for promo shots. A lot of cars have a hole behind the plate; or at least ugly attachment point.

That's not true. Women are not allowed to drive in Saudi-Arabia, but in other Middle Eastern countries they are allowed to. I don't think their husbands always encourage them to actually do so, but Palestine, Iran, etc don't have laws against it like S.A. does.

"Based out of Palestine, the Speed Sisters compete in racing events around the Middle East. "

This is a great story. I have a hard time putting a racing effort together and I have a pretty cushy life. These women do it in an area of the world where it is frowned upon and in a country (not meant to start a discussion on Palestine) that is in constant strife. They are kicking my butt for one important reason:

Maybe I can wait but I rather not, what is wrong with that?

I'll drink to that!

Damn it, this is why I wish Nashville had mass transit. It would be nice to crack open a cold one on the ride home from work and not get a DUI. And yeah, there's the whole less traffic thing, yadda yadda yadda.....I really just want to drink.

YOU GO GIRLS!

Ok so excuse my complete ignorance on the situation in the Middle East, but is female involvement in motor sports illegal or just frowned upon? Does it differ from area to area?

There was a third Zoom missing, so here it is.

Zoom.

Zoom.

Racing needs more babes behind the wheel. Good job ladies. I support you.

Chrysler is full of shit on this one. Saying the recall is not related to the sudden loss of 4Low is like saying pulling the drain plug is not related to the bathtub being empty.

GM did have people catch it in testing and DID outright ignore it. The fix the engineer that caught it to be fixed was 5 cents. GM told him it was too expensive of a correction and promptly ignored him.

Same here. I have a lever that physically operates the transfer case. It sits right next to the lever that physically actuates all five of my forward gears, plus reverse.

This is just sad.
