I only noticed recently there's not a single Blue Oval on my Mustang. The only badges are the 5.0 badges and the faux gas cap that reads GT. Very clean overall.
what always irked me was when automakers didn't bother to use the same font for all the badges. You'd get, say, a Ford Edge with Edge in one for and Sport in so,e goofy nonmatching font. I can't find any pics off the top of my head but we all knowwhat I'm talking about. American cars were the worst for it.
Dealer badges are awful. OEM badges are usually fine...the special edition ones are often the worst offenders, and I think this line of S-line/R-line/M-Sport badging is kinda tacky (they're barely warmed over versions of standard models but they have as much, if not more, badging than the actual performance models…

They didn't 'style' the GTO like anything, it was already a Holden Monaro they simply brought over and changed the front bumper on. They BRANDED the car wrong; naming it the GTO made people assume it 'should' be made/styled different, when in reality it was a just a simply fantastic vehicle in its own right.
