Honestly that would be Cadillac in the late ‘90s early ‘00s I would assume they are in a better position now since the Escalade probably is a cash cow that will keep the alive no matter what

Maybe Gm can’t quantify what Cadillac is because the brand has lost all meaning beyond its the most expensive brand in GM.

Ford has been using gasketless ball and socket exhaust joints since the ‘80s and they have been good but you could be right one could not be sealing well and is leaking slightly.

Exactly. I hit some hard times and had to DD a 87 Mercury Tracer hatch, hell if my kids were going with me in that thing. Granted I also have/had dreams of restomodding a 64 Galaxie Wagon as a family road trip car.

What happened to good car design? We must have somehow ended up in the mirror universe of car design. In another reality there is BMWs, Audis, Toyotas and Lexus with smaller tasteful grills
