Yeah out here in the southwest there are tons of classic metal around. and morons still sell them to the junk yard. I have seen complete 50s and ‘60s mercs and FS fords at my local u-pull and pay.

Same here. Super super sad
This is pretty sad at my local U pull it yard. I have seen the following 4 2cvs including a delivery van model, a late ‘60s Subaru 1000 tons of 1st gen Rx7s, a few MA-70 supras and tons of Alfa 75s and 155s (one of which was cash for clunkered that I took a valve cover off to use as a wall hanger) what kind of…
Yep even us Aviation folks who don’t deal with them a whole lot know how horrid they are. Just give me a ‘80s GM CUCV or DUCE and a half.
Both on my ‘95 Cobra and my friends ‘89 Supra turbo. going catless made big power gains. Granted the Cobra had 4 cats.
YEP their transmissions are crap IIRC.
Canadian Bacon hands down is THE worst movie I have ever seen.
RIP to my brothers in arms. Its been a tough week for Army Aviation.
Not strange at all that we retired our F-14s before them. Naval aircraft live a hellish life of being constantly exposed to salt water and extreme stress (cat launches and arrested landings). USN F-14s put in serious flight hours both and peace and war and were in dire need of replacement.
Wait she started her mid lift refit? I had been looking for info on it all summer. Any links?
There was BMW like that in Dexter too.
WRX STi IIRC
What about Nitrous Oxide adding to the top speed of the GT500. That one drove me nuts.
What is worse is the Russian DShK heavy machine gun out side of the CDC in the 1st season. Who ever has input on the military stuff should be shot.
Its aimed at the company not the car. Its a long shot that it will make it to market.
Yep I got into Roadracing due to Gran Turismo and Gran Turismo 2 in the late ‘90s
No boots on the ground? We encircled Japan with boots on the ground. What pushed the Japanese to surrender was the Soviet entry into the war in Manchuria with...boots on the ground.
What years? all of the ‘90s and ‘00s subarus I have owned are easy to get at the plugs.
I would assume this is why they had a Valve bending problem as well. I remember when these motors were brand new and reading about the issues in Engine builder magazine (one of the trade magazines I used to get when I was a manager of a autoparts store)
Yeah makes me wish I joined the navy instead of the Army. I love the army’s history and my own family’s tradition but damn that navy goes some cool places and even the non rate junior enlisted get to see some cool stuff if there ship goes some where awesome.
