Thanks I was sorta right.
wasn't the MK IV kinda heavy for its time? IIRC it was around 3400 or 3500 lbs?
That is what a W motor is 348/409 (old school name for them). Very cool and uncommon these days.
Chevy W motor?
Don't worry the Americans and Russians will counter it with superior production numbers.
FE FTW
Spinning Dorito of death I assume.
There was one in my local junk yard a few years ago. I pulled the valve cover and am planning on hanging it in the garage. Shame the oil cap was gone and replacements at $50.
I don't see that being a problem Virginia and Hawaii ANG operate F-22s. Vermont ANG is already slated to get F-35s.
This needs to be a kickstarter!
Yep a bit over a tenth isn't much room to brag to be honest.
To bad the Air National Guard will need those F-35s since most of their F-16 units are losing or soon to be losing aircraft due to running out of flight hours on those airframes. Just ask my local ANG unit 150th FW/188th Fighter Squadron who lost their F-16s back in 2010...
I wonder what the NSN number on cases of 30mm ammo. I would love to look it up.
Honestly I think the Aztek looks better. But I do hate the recent Nissan Design language.
Well that and its a Operational MUST HAVE. The Early F/A-18s, AV-8Bs and F-16 aren't getting any younger and they need replacement ASAP. All the Projects I mentioned were things that can have roles filed by other equipment.
It could be worse at least the damn thing is going to be operational unlike so many other projects that we sunk money into and got nothing, RAH-66, M-8 AGS, XM-29OICW and XM-8, XM2001 Crusader, and XM1203.
