Just enjoy the show in the moment and don't get too invested in the how they will end it. Even through the 4th season there is good character work and mini arcs but the resolution of the big picture was flubbed.

"Who is your Battlestar crush?"
Oh the naughty thoughts I have had about Jamie Bamber.

I have fun imagining a scene between her and Elizabeth Banks in season 5. That could have been really interesting.

Let us not also forget Milton Greene's "When he saw my shoes he asked when my cult was committing suicide."

David Warner's voice is just pure gravitas and dread. When he is acting in front of the camera he can do things to help soften his persona but when it is just his voice you can only really see him as a villain, or at best an officious prick.

Yeah the storylines start to call him out on that in season two. I find it appropriate that Johnathan Frakes does the voice since Commander Riker has some similar mid life crisis theme pop up in his character in later seasons of TNG.

Rest assured that because this is the internet there is large and scary rabbit hole of Gargoyles erotica that you can travel down if you hate your childhood.

Except that she told Brooklyn that she was alive during the past thousand years in Temptation, They don't really have the details about it yet but you get the feeling most of them know that she wasn't being honest with the stone spell story she told them in Awakening.

"But I know something you don't. Something that only comes with age. I know how to wait."

"Fulmenos venite!" The number of times I said that phrase as a kid to see if I could get actual lighting to shoot out my hands is both numerous and sad.

CONTINUED SPOILERS!!!
The thing with the deus ex machina ending that bothered me was that I didn't know what they were trying to say with it other than "we painted ourselves into a corner". There was no sense of what this higher being was or what they wanted it to represent.
On Deep Space Nine, another show Ron Moore

Is anyone else glad that Tricia Helfer might finally get a part worthy of her in Ascension? It's hard for me to understate how impressed I was with her performance as Six. She took on such a complex and layered roll with so little acting experience and just ran away with it.

Obligitory post using the word frak: Frak yes! Battlestar Galactica reviews!

I came into it the same way. My internet went out for awhile (it was a dark time) and I started watch stuff on my actual TV (I know! Crazy, right?). When I went back and watched the pilot the tone was so different that I really appreciated what the show had become.

Try to find the screen cap of all the Kabletown porn titles from season five if you haven't already. They are all pretty great.

I agree 4 and 6 are the spottiest but I can't hate on 6 too hard. It gave us Margret Cho as Kim Jong-Il. That is just fucking genius.

I also expect it to kick off real movement to make it a real holiday tradition in the same way that Festivus became a thing. I'll see you all in two years and everyone better be wearing blue and yellow and making kids cry for candy.

I love Rachel Dratch but if you have ever seen the original pilot the recasting does make sense. Jane Krakowski isn't perfect here but comparing the two performances it is clear she makes a better foil for Liz. As their personalities get enhanced and the diverge over the next few seasons it makes for some great

From now on we will only refer to it as "The Scottish Episode"
