I stand by my suggestion that we take everyone who was involved in the 2016 Democratic campaign (primary included) and people who won’t fucking get over it and throw them in a volcano.

As long as he unquestioningly supported everything Israel does, yes, that is correct.

This is the kind of antisemitism the right doesn’t mind. See, they actually hate Jews, but love Israel. If unquestioning, uncritical support of Israel isn’t your #1 issue then you’re not authentically Jewish to the right.

Not just 2016! I’m 33, I’ve seen it not work in every election since I’ve been paying attention (basically 2000 on).

That’s a very good point. It also makes me realize a bias that I didn’t realize I had. Thank you for that (meant sincerely, not sarcastically).

I don’t think you win an election by running a campaign based on “well, at least I’m not the other person!” You have to get people excited to vote for you.

As someone who prefers to use a dry herb vape, super hoping this is somehow related to the juice or oil that’s used and not dry herb.

Well, I’m not pushing that narrative. I find that shit-talking other candidates is less effective than talking up my preferred candidate.

Thank you for reminding me that I have a desired solution to all of the leftover animus from 2016: we take everyone who was involved with the Democratic Primary in 2016 and throw ‘em into a volcano! Then I never have to hear from assblasted Bernie or Hillary supporters who won’t shut the fuck up about 2016!

I’ll vote for whoever wins the primary. But I’m not going to vote for a candidate that isn’t my first choice in the primary. That’s just stupid.

“And maybe you have to swallow a little bit and say, ‘O.K., I sort of personally like so-and-so better,’ but your bottom line has to be that we have to beat Trump.”

This really shouldn’t be shocking or outrageous to me considering Carson wanted public housing to be akin to prison to “make sure people don’t get too comfortable”.

I grew up upper-middle class and one of the best classes I took in college was a required math class that taught you financial math. What you’d pay on a loan monthly, what you’d make on an investment, ways to figure that shit out. I was never taught that and it was incredibly helpful.

Never sexually harassed anyone to my knowledge. So he comes out wayyyyy ahead of Thomas.

The Wire is the greatest TV show ever created. You’ll always have that.

A quick thread that also touches on the kind of bullshittery of Andy Ngo, with recent examples!

The nerds were my people, not the cool kids, but all I wanted was to be Zack. I found myself bullying the kids I thought I had social leverage on. I made fun of kids for liking stuff I secretly also liked. I was basically Dawn Wiener from Welcome To The Dollhouse. If there’s one lesson I wish I could have taught

This shit makes me so angry because it’s such gratuitous, blatant racist bullying. It’s so blatantly, patently unfair that it makes my teeth itch. It makes me feel completely powerless to do anything because it has to be fixed by the administration and that won’t happen for a few years
