Very well said. I loved the game but I also hated it near the end for many of those reasons. Close to a masterpiece but yet so far away for almost trying so hard to be vague.

Glad someone finally did an article about this, I went through the same thing but rather than only putting in 6 hours initially I was what I could only guess at about 75% done the game (soooo 30? 40? hours in). The puzzles were getting insane, my patience was getting shorter, maybe another game took my attention and…

Funny timing, just looked up this game on iOS a day or two ago and just from the couple screenshots immediately thought, nope, no thanks, seems dorky. Just not my style I guess.
