This list seems to be arranged in two directions at once, because the #1 is absolute garbage, but the ones leading up to it seem to be the best of a bad crop, like it genuinely didn’t seem to have anything actually bad to say about the Weird Al song beyond “sorta 90s” for a song from the 90s.

Gasp no, not the liver, the organ that... processes enzymes into urea, that’s the point of it, that’s what a liver is for and does.  Please tell me there isn’t any urea in the urea-producing organ of the shark!

Oh hey, they did that photoshoot in the hallways of that Rise of the Resistance ride. I got stuck in there once when the ride broke down.  At least that’s something interesting to these boring orange ski jumpsuits that don’t look like anything in particular.

Hell DLC has nothing on the real world.  Diablo wants 100 dollars for a collectors edition, that’ll buy you about half of a Supreme t-shirt drop.

That doesn’t mean it’s a great idea to go around making them up.

See I just don’t buy that narrative, because like Dr. Strange 2 featured a character we never saw anywhere before, and I didn’t feel like I was being robbed of giving a shit by the fact that America wasn’t in previous media.  Like, Miss Marvel and Spectrum are really easy to watch as just “Oh hey, there’s like two

I love Miss Marvel’s family so I was delighted to have them in there a bunch, so you know, subjective v. objective.

This isn’t surprising at all, it means they’re afraid to actually move the story forward at all.  We’ve been seeing this same thing for a while in the Star Wars TV arm.  Everything takes place between any two of the trilogies, because pushing the story forward makes more permanent changes to the story bible.

Would Nomura even want to do that?  Each KH installment has been less about the FF and Disney characters and more about his favorite brand of chunky-fashion anime hotboys.  As far as I can tell he’s probably trying to figure out how to write Donald and Goofy out at this point.

Nova (Frankie Raye).  Like 100%.

What a mercenary weirdo, I always take all my jobs because I fucking love Thor so much.

“Oh, I’m quite certain he’ll return” Grammar said of Beast “I’ve already been assured that if The Marvels does even somewhat acceptably at the box office my way forward is clear and guaranteed!  Now, to check this week’s box office results, of which I remain categorically steadfast in my belief will not surprise me in

He’ll just be doing the voice.  I bet even with James over at DC they could still get Sean Gunn to do the mocap.

Man I’m a huge Star Wars fan and the “Rey’s parents didn’t matter” was the best thing they could have possibly done and I hate that they immediately undid it. Fuck turning every franchise into a dynasty. Do I gotta find out later that like Kit Fisto had super special Jedi parents too?

I feel the same right now about

I don’t need to see a new cut of that movie, it was made out of horrible parts, there’s not really a way to assemble them to fix that. It’s like telling me a cake baked with a turd in it would be good if only the turd had been mixed in with the wet ingredients instead of the dry.

I wouldn’t mind seeing an itemized list

Oh I’m sorry, they decided to go with “Important Clay Flushed Away” or “A Grand Day Out of Fancy Modeling Clay”.

Yeah, those odds are about right, given stuff like Super Bombad Racing and the Final Fantasy kart games laying the foundation for just how bad a licensed kart game can get.

It was and remains detached from the MCU film continuity.  The sole connection was that they both have alternate universe versions of Captain Carter, but they said during the press stuff for Dr. Strange 2 that the one in that film wasn’t the same as the one in What If (apparently the jet pack was enough to make it

It doesn’t appear to be set in the MCU, but rather in the location and rough time period of the end of the Raimi Spider-Man movies (around 2007-2008). Note how everyone is dressed like it’s the mid 2000s and that dude on the Subway is playing a second generation PSP. If this was set in 2023 he’d have to be watching

Well now that doesn’t work because there are both games that utilize 2D sprites in a 3D space (various Paper Mario titles, some JRPGs), and games that use 3D models but play entirely along a 2D plane (Street Fighter VI, the later Megaman X games).  Honestly the terms are near to useless.
