Actually in one of the other interviews he specifically said the Superman movie needs an extra evil villain, then cited Grodd as a possible choice.  So we might already have the first gorilla in the pipeline.  And as much as I assume that the Batman/Damien movie will do Professor Pyg or something, we can’t 100% rule…

GOTG was the 10th movie, and it only seems like it wasn’t a deep pull now because it worked so well.  It was a crazy deep pull at the time.

They aren’t.  Gunn can’t say “Yeah, Miller is radioactive and the Flash movie will go nowhere” in a press release, they still need that movie to make money, so they have to pretend it’s relevant til it’s come and gone.

I’d guess the opposite.  Imagine the comedown from having to act that ridiculously grim and serious when you’re not personally like that. 

My girlfriend hates celery.  When a recipe calls for a mirepoix, I generally make a sofrito instead.  Changes the flavor, rarely for the worse though.
