I’ll be honest, nothing shuts off my reception to a complaint about a role more than “tryhard.”

So that’s like specifically in fandom though, right?  Like I don’t ever watch the movies and think “Man I hate this character because someone is going to use her as their self insert in a story about marrying Loki.”

As much as I wish it’s Master Pandemonium with his babies for hands, I would also settle for someone actually from one of these sitcoms they keep recreating.  All “Holy shit, it’s Dan Connor” and there’s John Goodman.

This was the one where part of the draw was like “Put this controller in your suitcase and you can play your whole gameplay library in a hotel room!” right?  Where that was never ever going to happen because most semi-public venues like hotel rooms and convention halls and such have abysmal internet service?

What strikes me is that they’d probably call, get Thunderbolt Ross, who would say “Maximoff? That woman is a fugitive from the UN, I’ll send a bunch of tanks right on over.” Then they’d be like whoops, nevermind, this was obviously a mistake.

I mean, if you think she’s got one of those rugged style camping pagers that summons Carol, then yeah.  Otherwise she’s probably still off planet murdering random Kree.

Hey maybe there was a “Calling the Avengers” expert in one of the other trucks full of random scientists pulling up at the site.

“Hey who’s got the phone number for the Sanctum Sanctorum?”  Strange isn’t an Avenger and doesn’t live at the compound.  I’m sure he’d be useful, but it’s not like he published his e-mail address in any of these.

I bet the showrunner doesn’t want to have to be the one to finally answer the question about if the Sokovia Accords are still in place or not.

To that effect there’s already been a scene from the show in a trailer that was pretty clearly Wanda doing a camera confessional, so an Office joke is likely impending.

I figure that Agnes has made it her business to know everyone in town.  And all she had to do to convince that other guy (was that Herb?) was just gossip it at him.

Captain Marvel isn’t an alien, she isn’t even a foreigner.  And he wasn’t scared of the Kree because she kicked their asses fairly definitively.

I just wonder who was written in the script before Hamill said yes.  Not a whole lot of contenders.  Pretty much Quinlan Vos, Kyle Katarn, Cal Kestis maybe.  Could have been Ezra but that’d be weird after the Ahsoka episode.
