It just dawned on me: if Tebow spent as much time practicing as he does praying, maybe he’d be a better football player. It’s almost like God doesn’t just hand you shit simply because you pray for it!

Reached for comment, a completely bald Kurtzke could only say of his time in Washington:

‘I’ve made a huge mistake’.

Are we sure this isn’t actually Bill Simmons’ Dad?

I’m proud of you son

That moment when you realize social chair Braxton booked the Beta Butt Chug Formal on the same night that Entourage comes out on DVD.

What the fuck kind of Cobra Kai is that?

Pretty sure taking/keeping your money and not giving you the item in return, or taking your money, refusing the item, and only giving part back, is illegal in all states.

As a possessor of breasts I can fairly tell you that shit is accurate. I WISH I could make up the horror stories.

Actually, you have all the right to get your money back. I found myself twice in this situation (not at Gamestop, specifically) and all I needed to do was threat to call my lawyer (which I actually would have, as this would have meant easy money for me and him).

Hmm that’s an interesting aspect to it. I don’t believe I live in a state w/ robust consumer protection, NM, but I still had no problem reversing a $2000 charge for a couch that didn’t satisfy, even though this was in contradiction to the store’s policy. My bank agreed that the store’s policy was unfair, which is

As a current Gamestop employee I must say I am almost mortified by some of these employees actions. I’ve worked at Gamestop for about 2 1/2 years now and at least my store location has changed a lot in the way we do things from “Power-Selling” to “Make the customer happy.”

That $400 Gamestop story is truly a crappy situation. But, it seems like it could have been rectified by involving the bank. Even using a debit card, I’ve called BS on a merchant before for a large purchase like that w/ my bank and had the transaction reversed. Banks will often shield you from unreasonable merchant

Exactly. I don’t agree with his views but I have a hard time understanding how this is different from all the other racist, sexist, dillusional hot takes that ESPN commentators spew daily.

He’s voluntarily going down. Tomorrow’s headline: OLD MAN YELLS AT SATAN

When they worry about “the face of our brand,” they seem more concerned with how the public sees them than whether or not their employees are raging asshats.
