I am one of those people that really couldn’t wait to see this movie. I loved the book. Maybe that makes me a simpleton, who knows. But I thought it was a lot of fun.

All he had to say was “I meant to say ‘inmates running the asylum.’” As much as so many people around here wish otherwise, that is a thing that people say that speaks to power dynamics with no racial overtones. I use the phrase every chance I get in a professional context, as one of the inmates.
