@AustinFound: Give it a break. You might be the the positive half of students who are actually attending grad school for a legitimate purpose. But you know darned well that half your peers are at law school, getting their MBA, or masters in Art History because they couldn't hack it in the real world. I commend

@Settings: You don't like the idea of adding salt to something you want to be sweet? Then, my friend, I suggest you don't understand how salt or tastebuds work.

This auction was all over the watch enthusiast/collector communities. It's seriously the biggest news of the year, if not the recent couple of years. Besides being a rare watch, the story behind it, his life story. is great.

@MxPxRobbie: How ever did you find that secret link on the Internet?!?

I agree that ebooks are great for classics. For newish releases, the savings don't always match the example in the article. Oftentimes, the Kindle version is only $2 cheaper, and many times it's MORE expensive. This makes it quite frustrating for an ebook/Kindle/Amazon fan such as myself.

@trois: Thanks for the Hexxeh link.

It does look like it creates some great shots with excellent crema but I can't believe you are recommending a $170 handheld espresso device and calling it cheap no less.

@lpranal: I have to ask - what are these modifications from HK you mention?

@RubiksCube: Seriously? A Back to the Future flux capacitor joke? What are your limits?

@bilk: I am still laughing!

@Erica Thomas: Do you live in heaven? That is seriously the coolest thing ever plus it puts the burden on them. I bet the owners put it in place so the management can't slack off. I used to live in a very crowded college town where the landlords were basically slumlords. You were afraid of asking them for anything. I

@applefandan: They send it directly to your iPhone.

@akarpens: Unfortuantely I am having XBMC do it. As you know, if there's any sort of crash or recovery, even the "backup" database does nothing. I would use your method except I don't have each of my movies in a folder and it would take ages to manually create new folders for each of them. Unless someone had a script

Seriously? Pulled sugar (candy) is nothing like cotton candy.

I am running XBMC live installed permanently onto a nettop box. Does anyone know how I can upgrade without losing all my movies/tvshows/music metadata database?

Thank you thank you thank you for providing QR Codes.

This is terrible news coupled with the Drive Extender death. Now I am faced with the dilemna with moving all my data off my HP MediaSmart WHS (which has been unreliable for the first time in years) and onto a different and more expensive solution.

This was really well written and a great comparison between the two choices. I am currently running an Acer Aspire Revo with XBMC Live but let me tell you, holding my breath each time I startup to make sure that some config change I made to a xml config file on the last go around didn't corrupt it, is painful. I am
