I am unable to get any sort of Exchange calendar on my N1 with Froyo (2.2). None of my events, recurring or single, appear. I've tried clearing the calendar and sync app caches and turning sync off and on.

@Roy Jacobsen: I have kept quotes in a MS Word document for years. I must have thousands now. The issue is that it's a special format and it's also not a true database. I had a friend try to parse it and he did a great job but since there are inconsistencies, I abandoned the effort. I would really like a system that

I did not get the same impression as you. His article did not seem like a rant nor did he sound elitist to me. I appreciate being educated about the science of espresso. If you want to see snobs, check out coffeegeek.com

@luckycharms: Flyertalk definitely is the site of choice but I feel the barrier to entry is too high. It's simply TOO intense and intimidating. It's like trying to teach your girlfriend how to work newsgroups and torrents. Except in this case, you're the newb.

I use a similar model ScanSnap. Mine is the desktop version, not this model which looks more portable. I use it at least once a week and do large scanning batches. I keep records of everything including receipts and utility bills. I used to keep physical copies of everything. This is much better and takes up less

@kettlewhistle: How many people, per year, do you think get sick from thermometer re-contamination?

I have several ThermoWorks products as well. They are well made, durable, and I can attest their warranty and customer service is excellent. However, please note the difference between a $24 thermometer and a $96 one. The former is anything but insta-read.

This is really one of the best posts you've done on XBMC. Two questions:

@Anonymoose: This is completely different than Pandora. The only way to find a song in Pandora is the first time you use it. You search for a song and it starts playing and then it creates a playlist based on the genome of the song. Then it penalizes or limits you on fast forwarding. (I know there are pay options that

I completely agree with everythign you said. I am using it in the US (closed beta) so I can't subscribe. I've had the Android app running on my Nexus One for months just waiting for the day they'll let me purchase a premium account so I can take the songs on the go, with me. You hear very little about Spotify here in

@veronykah: Consideing Android is the only phone OS with a native GV app, the answer is yes.

I am trying this out. It's my first password manager (not counting brief stints with other programs). Am I correct in understanding that even with the autofill/login feature checked, it just fills out the name/password field but doesn't press login for you?

@Bonsai_halcyon: I agree. Shipping is not cheap. I don't believe it would be cost effective to ship over flying. Though, I can see other pros.

@AdamPflug: When you say home server are you referring to WHS? From what I read (starting 10 mins ago), CrashPlan doesn't really support the path system that WHS uses (UNC). How are you setup?

AFAIK, backing up WHS to an external HD is only for folders (e.g. Videos, Music, Pictures, Documents), and not the "whole contents of the server"

What I want is for Amazon to go through my past book purchases and say "Hey thanks for being loyal to us and buying a boatload of books. How would you like an e-book version for $5?" Or some arbitrarily low number ... not $2 off hardcover.

I was going to get a third party "hack' yesterday and now this comes out. I really liked the WP app for my iPhone so I am glad it's available for my Nexus One now. Thank God.
