I have been using it for the last couple of days and while I love the idea that this is even possible on Android (as opposed to the iPhone), I just wish it was more customizable. I think the app itself is very fast and it makes sense that a homescreen show you more than icons you can launch. Overall I really like it

@Haizum74: You can't but Lookout allows automatic backups.

I made the comparison myself and posted it here on Google Docs: [bit.ly]

@codyflee: Sorry, I made a mistake.

@cc82: WOW, let me install that one too. I am going to have them all running. LOL.

Why was my comment deleted?

Can you guys do a comparison between WaveSecure, Lookout, and Prey? I have all three installed and can't figure out which to keep? I tweeted with the developer of Prey and found out it takes zero resouces. It doesn't even run in memory but only activates when sent the SMS code. Lookout is pretty cool though their

I know it's implied but I had to read it a few times to be clear. The Revo does not come with an optical (DVD) drive so it's important to note that you need to use an external USB drive to do the initial install. I don't feel Adam really makes it clear in the article.

@Humbuzz: You worked answering phones (customer care) and you didn't need the job THAT much? LOL

@nutbastard: How well have you fared so far trying to convince the world you have it so bad as a white man?

The reason the T-Mobile plan is listed at $10 more is that the default plan doesn't include 900 minutes. They had to get all the plans to match so if that means add-on packages, then you have to add it. That's not to say as an iPhone user, you couldn't get away with just the cheapest voice and data ($40 + $30)

I can't imagine any reason anyone would switch from Flickr to Picassa. Flickr looks way better and has better management tools. $25 a year is not much to ask. Are you guys that cheap?

Very informative and well done video.

@jupiterthunder: I am still unclear about the advantages of using the USB install option versus the one inside Windows.

With the dedicated box coming out, does it still make sense to build a Ion box yourself?

The obvious one is the ability to import into groups or maintain groupings from imports. For example, if you export your Yahoo! contacts and have them categorized as Friends, Business, Soccer then import that into Gmail, it just dumps it all into the root. It's very annoying.

Letterpressed calling cards are the best. I got a box from my friend at The Mandate Press. Check them out: [www.themandatepress.com]

It's amazing this tool is getting so much love (from the developers as well as the public) but it still can't do one simple thing - sync a single folder. Before v3 of Firefox, there was a great FTP based bookmark sync program that would let you do just that.

The big downside for CA residents is MWAVE is located here so 8.25% tax.

Great idea. I have a business card but I only want to hand it out for "business" related matters. For everything else, I have these:
