Things like this make me want kids. How adorable.

I'm just surprised Kid doesn't want cereal for dinner. I never got to have cereal for dinner until I was grown, and then the pleasure of it was taken away by bills.

Unless there was some major change to his lifestyle or your house, he probably just figured out how much he likes to be behind/under things. My beagles like cave-like places to nap. So does our cat.

I use K9 Mail for my non-Gmail addresses. It works great and it has a lot of neat features.

That's the level of evidence America decided was necessary for civil trials. And it's actually a good thing because a civil trial judgment only involves money or performance of services (if you breached a contract). It's also hard to collect on judgments sometimes, she may never see her $900k.

Civil trial level of proof is preponderance of evidence, which basically means the judge/jury believes the defendant is at least 50% guilty. Beyond a reasonable doubt is more like 75-80% guilty.

FWIW my cramps don't feel like that. It's an intense throbbing in my lower abdomen. It's like the muscles are pulsating, and this is totally different (in terms of location and type of pain) than when my stomach/intestines are acting up. But for the first time, I can see how it might be assumed to be bowel issues.

Weed + wine = win.

I'm not saying it isn't a good movie, but greatest sports movie of all time? Psh.

On what planet is Lagaan the greatest sports movie of all time?

Have you seen her new show Veep? It's incredible.

Definitely not. Although I know a lot of what's going to happen from the show and from spoilers I read online. I didn't even try to stay away from spoiler threads. But it's still so good.

I was hooked from the beginning. I started with the show and after hearing a lot of good things about the books, decided it was worth it. I was probably hooked before I started reading it.

Husband has been sick the past couple of days and sleeping a lot. So last night I went and bought Game of Thrones (book) and I'm 200 pages in. OMG! It's amazing.

They are sooo good. I pan fried them though instead of cooking the sauce for 3 hours. Got the outsides are brown and crunchy and then sauced 'em for like 20 minutes. Amazeballs.

Only if you're in California. I just tried.

The biggest thing that convinced me was I wanted to be his legal person. His mom doesn't agree with his views about end of life care and we both knew she wouldn't respect his wishes.

Common law in America has changed and laws vary by state. In the early 90s, they passed a law in Texas that after you've been living as common law married, you have to go to court and file paperwork to actually be married and get the spousal benefits. So I figured might as well have the day and get some presents.
