Compared to the more popular, flowing W211 and then followed by the more powerful ducted facelift and W213, I always thought the original W212 was chiseled, if a bit dry in it’s styling. But that’s exactly what I want out of an E class.

The headlights were always cool looking but everything between them in the front just didnt work

While in general I agree, the jowled vents seen since the facelift 212 have been a huge turnoff for me. This being plastered on literally everything since has put them back in the pretty to sit in hard to look at era of the 210.

If not for some period tech quirks and styling inside, I still love my w212 as it approaches 200k

Hearing the 4 cylinders only and the hood star getting dropped everywhere but china had me tepid. But seeing that nondesript dash and corperate face just has me worried what the E will bring.

Tpms lights that function like check engine lights. I know my sensors arent working, i didnt put any on. I dont think its worth 80 dollars a rim to save 100 dollar snow tires. Kindly let me turn it off so i can have one less light distracting me

The biggest flaws i see to putting it up are that when up if freezing rain is common where you are, youll sometimes end up with the blades frozen in the air like giant popsicles

To cover my needs, the car needs to do a day trip without stopping.
