I think this article (and many similar complaints I’ve seen elsewhere) cheapen the experience of disabled people by likening them to people who live in rural areas and people who just don’t want to walk outside.

I think you underestimate just how badly Episode IX tanked the reputation of all the sequels, and how much Episode III redeemed the other prequels. No question VII and VIII were better-received than I and II, but I disagree strongly with that “totality” statement.

The most glaring flaw of Episodes 7-9 is that they had no point, in the end. Even a vision I disagreed with would have been better than no vision at all.

The weirdest part of ROTJ was her finding out she’s Darth Vader’s kid and just being, “OK, cool, no big deal, have fun fighting the Emperor, Oh hai Han Solo!” Same way she instantly recovered from Alderaan getting blown up to comfort Luke about Obi-Wan.

They get Ian McDiarmid and Mark Hamill to play little devil/angel characters standing on her shoulders and whispering in her ear, “Do it!” or “Don’t do it!”

One of the things I disliked most about New Super Mario Bros Wii U was that they had two toads instead of having Peach be playable. The justification I kept hearing for it was that the story HAD to be about rescuing Peach. (Then of course she was playable in the very next game.)
