PS Plus was very good. The new service is so bad for classic games that it makes Nintendo’s look good.

I wanted to like Brooklyn Nine-Nine. I know I should have. I tried to. All the algorithms told me to like it. It’s got Terry Crews who’s hilarious. And somehow I just couldn’t enjoy it at all.
AM2R is the only Metroid game I’ve never finished. It’s insanely hard compared to any of the others, even on the easiest difficulty. I quit at the Tester boss battle. Looking forward to actually trying the original Metroid 2 though.
I also read it that way. I think it was intentionally confusing.
It will just be millions of reports about characters having the right number of fingers, and occasionally an actual bug.
This certainly wouldn’t be my list but it’s not a crazy list by any means.
Sometimes even the absolute best of a particular genre is sometimes godawful for me. I hated Skyrim from the moment I started it since I found the setting and characters repulsive. The best JRPG of all time, whatever one thinks it is, will turn me off the same way. Shadow of the Colossus was another one I absolutely…
Super Paper Mario was great. I played Thousand Year Door and cannot remember anything at all about it, but I remember enjoying the mechanics in Super Paper Mario and switching between 2D and 3D.
The physical Metroid Prime Trilogy for Wii looks like it’s selling for hundreds of dollars because it was discontinued very quickly.
Related: they never restocked the Metroid Prime Trilogy disc when it came out for Wii, and that started selling for a lot on eBay too. (Digital version was much cheaper but only on the Wii U eshop.)
Microsoft still hasn’t even put Banjo-Tooie on Nintendo consoles. Who’s going to believe this?
What’s interesting to me about this is that if Fox loses this lawsuit, it will be because they gave Dominion the actual texts and such. If they’d taken the standard Trump route of refusing to cooperate in any way, they might have just gotten a contempt of court fine which they could have appealed for years. American…
Metroid Dread had many checkpoints and the Switch’s sleep mode, which is much closer to a save-anywhere system than any other Metroid game has. (Except of course for playing old Metroid games on the Wii U Virtual Console, which is what I did.)
That’s disappointing. I just did the Wii version and that would have been a big improvement. This sounds kind of lazy for the price they’re charging.
Every time I see what’s exclusive to the “Premium” tier, I feel stupid for subscribing to it.
Mario: “Oh no, I gotta-a red splotch on my overalls from this plumbing pipe!”
This is how we got the Solo movie. Sometimes you don't need a prequel about the boring parts.
Every other company, and Nintendo in the not-so-long-ago days, would put their first-party games at $20 after a year or two. Now Nintendo never sells games for less than $40 even a decade after the original version came out. It’s awful and indefensible. A $10 discount through some weird system doesn’t make it…
The Wii U came kind of close. You could play virtual console games from the Wii on it for free, and spend $1 to upgrade to a Wii U-specific version. And everyone hated it, then the Switch threw away the whole library and everyone loved it, and I don’t understand Nintendo fans.
Outside of some very tightly moderated spaces or small communities, most of the internet seems like it’s become 4chan by now. I suspect these bots are trained on YouTube comments and Facebook/Twitter posts and chain emails.
