A lot of us were doubting it even at the time. It felt like a story that people _wanted_ to be true, and confirmation bias kicked in. There certainly was an upgrade to the Switch released, and I suspect that’s what the original stories were always unintentionally referring to.

I suspect the reason so many conspiracist and anti-minority and other whackjob YouTube videos are tediously long is because by the time you get to the end of watching it, you’ll agree to just about anything.

A “reputable outlet” that said Switch Pro was just around the corner lost a lot of its reputation, in my eyes. The news was false. Bloomberg News pushed it hard as I recall, and I don’t consider them reputable anymore when it comes to this subject. 

I think the only acceptable choice is Chris Pratt playing both Rick and Morty, using his normal voice for both. 

True, except they continued “Player’s choice”/”Nintendo Selects” into the Wii U era. It’s really only since the Switch era that they’ve refused to ever offer a serious discount on their games, and even raised the price of old games.
