“finally” is a strange word choice here considering the articles they used to write about Hillary Clinton here. They wanted a woman in office, just not THAT woman (ad infinitum).

Dave Chappelle is the funniest person in the world for people who haven’t paid attention to pop culture in 20 years and wish Don Rickles were still alive.
Hiding from your actual beliefs is literally the Republican party platform this year (and in 2020): they refused to commit to any positions at all. Luckily it lost this time, but they have done quite well with that strategy for decades.
The Root is kind of weird for a Kinja site because the trans-hating bigots are all un-greyed and you have to go to the greys to find anyone saying “Trans people actually DO deserve to live.”
I remember weapon crafting back in Mushroom Men for the Gamecube in 2002, when you and Zack weren’t even born, and it already felt kind of forced back then.
I do like “collectathon” games where there are a fixed, finite number of things that you find around the world and you get 100% if you explore enough. I like getting 100%!

Love Ratchet and Clank, but not so much on streaming (which is how these PS3 games are being offered). Better than nothing, I suppose.
I love how Twitter employees keep trying to fix this mess and Elon keeps saying, “No I like it broken”
I thought the point was that “official” was kind of random, like why would he get it and not Hillary Clinton?
No reason it should be a trade-off. Give the employees stock in addition to their salary. It’s how you get employees invested in the success of the company and its products (which seems to be one of the biggest issues this Metaverse faced).
Nothing new, but they will still have to pass a budget, and will probably do continuing resolutions (keep things the same as they are) after a whole lot of stupid and destructive drama. We won’t improve things, and it will look like a shitshow circus, but we’ll most likely stay in a holding pattern the same way we did…
Or just giving the employees the stock. There are lots of easy ways for Zuckerberg not to be a prick, but he always chooses prick.
Imagine being Zuck, watching Musk going down in flames and thinking, “Isn’t there any way I can get the schadenfreude attention back on me?”
Poor Raphael Warnock will now have to win FOUR elections for one seat in only two years. I support the idea of runoffs in principle, but this is a bit insane. Good luck to him.
He actually banned Kathy Griffin, THEN retroactively announced the new rule she had broken.
I feel like I mentioned a specific thing and you have not mentioned any specific thing, so I don’t even know how to disagree with you. You sound like you are not really interested in evidence that might dispute your premise.
Democrats did pass some of the largest bills in history to make people’s lives better. It’s unfortunate that almost nobody has any idea what’s in them, and after months of haggling over things like the infrastructure bill, everyone instantly forgot about it the day it was signed.
I don’t see any evidence that Elon has learned or will learn anything.
