He was right the first time. GTA is not for little kids, but it’s made for edgy teenagers. Many adults also like things that are intended for kids, like Star Wars, Harry Potter, Twilight, and GTA.

The next Sonic game will be a remake of Sonic Adventure with a new gliding minigane and come out in ten years.

I was thinking "Sonic, but all black and grimdark," and then I remembered they did that 20 years ago.

Wii was the best console Nintendo ever made. Shame they basically stopped supporting it two years in.

Wii was way better as a party console. Nintendo Land had a lot of good bits, but Wii had a lot more games that anyone could enjoy, even if they didn’t play video games normally. Not just Wii Sports, but things like Boom Blox and Guitar Hero were big hits for us.

Oh, I regretted that one almost immediately.

I remember playing all the classic Sierra/Lucasarts adventure games in the late 80s/early 90s on an Amiga 500 without a hard drive, so “insert disk 10" is a phrase not wholly unfamiliar to me. Kids today...

I had a bad feeling about this since there were no early reviews (is that not a standard thing anymore?). Glad to hear it’s good; the old versions were among my favorite games ever. 

And Twilight Princess on Gamecube. The original BotW delay never surprised me.

Many people didn’t understand that though. XBox naming has been a serious failure and has probably hurt Microsoft’s sales, just like the Wii U.
