One of the Democratic candidates very explicitly made this his message in a primary debate. Vote for me and you can not think about politics for a couple of weeks. Maybe Hickenlooper? Buttigieg? Can’t find it now, unfortunately.

They do that all the time and are pretty blatant about it. How many times have we said, “Oh my God, I can’t believe they would do that!” only to turn away when it turns out to be slightly less noxious.

There are a fair number of white nationalists and alt-right guys who are dating or married to Asians. It seems like cognitive dissonance, but it’s a real thing. 

I wanted to like Bob’s Burgers, but I couldn’t get over the fact that the women are voiced by men who sound nothing like women. I guess many people don’t have this problem?

Wasn’t meant to be a direct comparison, just an illustration of how weird it is to call Sony stingy when Nintendo is so much worse. (I don’t disagree that Sony is a bit stingy here.) Second Son is $20 new, and Uncharted 4 is $30 new. Nintendo hasn’t dropped the prices of any similar first-party games in 5 years. And…

Meanwhile Nintendo is all the way over there still charging $60 for Mario Kart for the Wii U. So count, uh, your blessings.

I Kickstarted this game however many years ago, assuming I’d have a PS4 by now. Still don’t; how much time do I have?

I think that view would not be supported by most Fluffyans. I’ve never heard anybody claim that Center City and Old City are separate neighborhoods/districts. Old City is a subset of Center City. 

The city was permanently ruined by those godawful highways, and the highway driver tourists are STILL ungrateful. 

I used to take an SSRI. Every time I would miss/skip doses, I would become extremely fucked up (much worse than I had been before it was prescribed). It works well enough if you take it regularly, but if not it will completely screw up your mind (and you won’t know because it’s your mind). Scary to even remember it.

There were no Dems. All 53 Republicans voted for Scalia, and all Democrats voted against (with three Democrats absent).
