Bizarro Susan Collins?

Sure you can, just remember what happened seconds after Obama’s operation killed bin Laden. It was already a different country then, since Republicans were the ones who had to come together with the Democrats in charge rather than the other way around. (Hint: they didn’t.)

Understood, and I agree.

It will not be two more years of “this.” When Republicans won in 2016, it was a surprise to everyone. If they win this time, after all of them have joined the Trump cult and there are no consequences, things will escalate to Mussolini-style fascism very quickly.

The Mueller probe is going to be a whitewash. Mueller is a Republican. Your faith in him is misplaced.

I get that I’m old and other people are not, but do you really not have any idea what Live Aid was? It was one of the most widely-watched TV events in history.

Yes! These are not neutral “good-government” laws that every reasonable person agrees to. These are proposals that Democrats strongly support and Republicans strongly oppose. “Everybody vote” is a position that hurts Republicans.

Always good to get the perspective of a 12-year-old, thanks for sharing.

Depends on the environment. There are several places that are so toxic that the person screaming the loudest and portraying himself as the perpetual victim will absolutely get promoted. They don’t stop screaming after that.

Collins is Team Trump. Sticking it to the libs for a generation is a feature, not a bug.

No, she will never admit she was wrong. Same as her reaction to Mitch McConnell lying to her about protecting health care in exchange for her vote on millionaire tax cuts.

Most people don’t think it matters who’s in the government.

Oh look, it’s the guy who puts a pox on both their houses. We need more of that right now. How do things look from up there?

I think there’s a typo in this Paul Blest article. The sentence where this is all Hillary Clinton’s fault and Democrats are really even worse than any bad Republican is missing. Please fix it posthaste!

I’ve been in that situation. It felt like Vonnegut’s “Galapagos”: if you say no, you won’t be asked again for a million years.

I’ve noticed some people think the rows denote the hierarchy on the plane, and anyone behind them is “lesser people.” They grab your headrest, they lean against you, they back their seats into you, and all because you must have done something to deserve it.

They need to have five far-right-wingers on the Court, as soon as possible before they lose the opportunity. That’s all.

Sitting in the back means you have to listen to the flight attendants’ conversation. In my experience, they never stop talking, except to watch a video on someone’s phone.

I agree. School starts much too early, and this hotel wasn’t free.

“Congratulations! You now oppose enforcement of antitrust law for companies in Mountain View, CA. Your Congressman has been contacted on your behalf.”
