I really hope this word-of-mouth negativity at Reddit opens their eyes: it should not take 80 hours to unlock both Luke and Vader. The only thing left is to vote with our wallets and simply don’t buy the game or delve into its terrible economy. Yet this is wishful thinking on my part; I’m sure there are huge Star Wars

If they do that but remove all these credit and lootbox economy elements completely, I’m fine with that.

That is actually very sad to hear. Didn’t know.

One of the few times I hope a videogame fails miserably sales-wise. The economy is absolutely terrible for a full-priced 60$ release. If this were half-price, I would understand. But 40 hours to unlock each of the single most iconic characters in the game? That’s ludicrous. It’s obvious that the in-game economy is

Exactly. It shouldn’t be like this but reports like this and the essay that’s within the report is pushing this narrative that doesn’t exist.

I’m sorry but the argument the essay makes is a load of bull. The writer is just to steer the direction towards “Cuphead is racist” in any way possible. Do you seriously think that “not depicting the era in its entirety” actually and logically leads to “meaning that they’re hiding it and that’s intrinsically racist?”.

They definitely have enough money to keep two of them afloat, but they still took an economical decision for long term. For reasons that you’ve mentioned, the better bet was to keep Respawn around and ditch Visceral.

Hmmm...so the shutdown of Visceral does make sense when you put it into the timeline perspective. They had a business decision to make between keeping Visceral afloat or acquiring Respawn.

I didn’t read most of this article to avoid spoilers. I’m just going to note that this isn’t an exclusive case with Mario. Even if the plot is paper-thin, gameplay and event spoilers are just as bad for me personally, especially when it’s a big franchise like Mario. With social media and the ability for anyone to

As a huge fan of wrestling and the n64 AKI wrestling titles, I absolutely agree with all the sentiments echoed in this article. Yuke’s engine has never been up to fluff gameplay-wise, despite the continuous presentation bumps each year. Not only the sim-like gameplay simply isn’t fun, but the so-called annual upgrades

Baffling and unprecedented. On one hand, kudos for the Ys fans pestering Falcom directly to act on NIS’s subpar localization efforts. It’s great that they have a full plan to fix all these issues by November.

Honest mistake. I find it funny that you think I’m a poser just because I made a mistake in the styling of their name.

Such an underrated JRPG. This is honestly one of developer Tri-Ace’s best works. I’ve been a fan since Star Ocean 2 and Radiata engrossed me just as much as Valkyrie Profile. Interestingly, it’s possibly the only Tri-Ace game not composed by Sakuraba. Noriyuki Iwadare does an excellent job though. Soundtrack is still

This copyright strike makes perfect sense. The creator of this mod has been walking on a slippery slope with the development of this awesome mod. His videos on YouTube plugged his Patreon and its link, which implies people to go and “tip” or pay the dude for the continuation of more Mario 64 mods and updates. I know

Good points. But to be fair, it would be extremely difficult to hire decent non-Japanese actors who fluidly speak Japanese. They have to work with what they can find. The producers are Japanese and there’s no way they can find this niche in the actor’s resume unless they widen the budget and collaborate with western

Are you sure that Skyrim is published by Nintendo on the Switch? Their product page lists Bethesda as the publisher:

The field UI instantly reminded me of Wild Arms 5 and Wild Arms for the PSP. Looks eerily similar.

Valve Makes the Darndest Games.

I haven’t fired up No Man’s Sky since its initial launch. Going in blind, I enjoyed it for what it is and there’s some sort of hypnotizing feeling to its rhythm and repetition. That being said, that may also caused me to stop playing. All these updates have me hyped up to play again.

That is insane. I’m sure it has its niche as the PC 90s fantasy role-playing games are relatively extinct nowadays. I’ve never been interested in PC games in general, but I’ve dabbled with the genre back in the day with Obitus on the SNES. Absolutely hated it. Not my cup of tea at all.
