Great post and recommendation. Thanks. It looks like I’ll skip the 3D FFIV remake in favor of the TAY 3D remake.

While I appreciate the cool pre-order bonus, wouldn’t have been easier if they kept the motion controls for the Wii U version as an option to pick? After all, the Wii U supports Wii Remotes so I don’t see why they couldn’t fit both traditional and motion controls in one package. Look at Pimkin 3 for example.

FFIV is one installment I didn’t touch until a few years back (PSP enhanced port). I went in not expecting much. Absolutely loved it. Has more heart and soul than recent FF titles. By the time I finished it, I was too spent to play After Years, which is included in the PSP port.

While I respect TB, his stance is very narrow and one sided. A true critic would voice his opinion of the game in question, regardless of the developer’s stance on said critic. If you’re outright saying that you can’t fairly judge a game because of a childish social media spat, then you’re outright claiming that

Wow. That Ramza redesign is really good. While I don’t mind the belt buckles and zippers in Nomura’s clothing preferences, here we have Ramza without none and some nice facial features. Very faithful to the original character.

Great. I’m glad Nintendo’s releasing balance patches based on community feedback. I also found Diddy to be an overpowered character in skilled hands. I wonder what else this patch has introduced in terms of balancing? Hopefully, it killed all the known bugs though.

Sure it t may be a tad disappointing, but it’s not a terrible downgrade. Lighting effects are the only thing which was downscaled. It’s too bad, but as long as the game runs better in favor of it, it’s all good. Besides, the jump from thr original to X is absolutely mindblowing.

Wow dude. This is the dumbest DLC ever. Even dumber than the infamous horse armor. This feature should be built-in free into the game. Also, if you’re going to sell it as DLC, there shouldn’t be a limit of how many easy fatalities you have. This is not an angry birds game.

I rarely see the stages you mentioned there, particularly Skyloft and Delfino. Admittedly, I’ve seen a few Duck Hunt and even Kongo Jungle 64, but they’re so infrequently picked in contrast to Smashville and Town/City. It really bothers me that most tourney players lean towards the most common and safe stages.

There is still a lot of potential in the Smash 4 scene due to the reasons stated in the article. It’s been a blast playing with friends and online. My only annoyance is the repetitiveness of the stages during tournament play. All I see is FD, Smashville, Town and City, and Battlefield. There are a bunch of other

An indie-like game from a big studio. It almost feels like one of those unique iPhone games developed by a small team. HAL has indeed still got it despite not developing as much games as before. A wonderful little gem.

Wow. The art style is fantastic. Very unique look. The sense of scale has lot of potential too.

A natural reponse back then. If a country dropped nuclear bombs on my home, I would feel resentment towards that country, reasoning aside. Time does heal all wounds, however. I’m sure Miyazaki has come to terms with everything, but being old and living through that incident is a perspective that none of us have.

I’m saddened that he’s still not recovered. The fact that he’s still delegated to Smash Bros. DLC is not a good sign, too. He should be fully resting his hands and tendons, focusing on physical therapy/medications instead. I don’t want this to be unrecoverable or the need to go to surgery. I’m surprised that he didn’t

Agreed 100%

Gotta admit, I marked out on that BTTF one. That’s freakin’ awesome! Makes me want to play the game.

It’s nice that it’s free, but I don’t think you will unlock any goods if you complete the cups with gold or three star ratings. Playing it will be a novelty at best. In contrast to having a proper Battle Mode that people like me are willing to pay for. I’m not complaining of the add on content especially if it’s free,

Man, if they ever announce a Battle Mode pack, I will be so freakin’ happy! They must know that critics and fans panned how they dealt with Battle Mode for the Mario Kart 8 base game. Nobody liked it and it’s the only major flaw of a well-received installment.

Talk about opening pandora’s box. It looks like they’re going for a full DLC plan for Smash 4, instead of the original plan of having Mewtwo only. Good news for us, but I don’t think Sakurai is too happy about this. I’m sure he caved in as Nintendo needs to churn out money. Not that this is a completely greedy

I’d seriously pay up to 20$ for a full fledged Battle Mode with many stages, fully customized rules, 4-player split-screen, new modes in addition to Balloon, etc. Even if Nintendo overprices it, I’d pay. That’s how desperate I am for some proper Battle Mode ala Mario Kart Double Dash/Mario Kart 64. It’s been far too
