Loving this. I love the symphonic metal/prog rock sound of the game's music from what I've tasted in the demo. More developers should let rock bands or groups be responsible for the OSTs.

This interview was needed and long-overdue. Indeed, from the obvious onlooker of this text conversation, one could conclude that both people knew each other well and that she stayed quiet and scoffed his advances first because she liked it or was comfortable about it. All his talk except the creepy last lines and…
To go as far as tweak the emulated game with enhancements that encourage pay-to-win tactics is truly evil. I would've gladly paid $5 to play the original game unaltered. Even an an unaltered version with paid boosts is okay in my book.
It's not the end of the world. If Sony and Microsoft released their respective apps to enable console-to-smartphone integration, I don't see why Nintendo shouldn't do something similar...whether it's by simple marketing, a Nintendo or Miiverse app, and even free minigames. Let's not overreact, people.
I've had this game since its PC launch and attempted to make time for it during the pre-launch event, but because of the overcrowded servers I couldn't get in back then. Sadly, I didn't touch it since then. I'm now contemplating to get it on the PS4 as console gaming is more comfortable for me, but everyone says that…
I don't see any sort of logical response from King. All I see are excuses. You published a cloned game and nothing can change that. It happened. Stop being hypocritical. If you want to protect your IP, hunt down the people who re-use your art assets and copy your game concepts, not trademark everyday words like Candy…
I always thought that Gears was a joint venture between Microsoft and Epic and never expected it to appear in any other system. I guess this makes it official then. Best of luck to them. It's smart that they secured and acquired the full rights as Microsoft doesn't have a lot of IPs in contrast to Sony and Nintendo.
Very charming and authentic to Yoshi's Island feel. I hold Super Mario World 2 in a very high regard, and it's always nice to revisit that play-style once more. Exploration-based platforming, no time limit, etc. The theme music is pretty catchy, too. Promising stuff all-in-all.
He was not in his right mind, unfortunately. Just be glad that it didn't end in a murder-suicide a.k.a. mercy killing his wife. A lot of mental illness cases may lead to that train of thought. Just look at what happened with Chris Benoit.
I'm shocked by the news. On camera, he seemed like the person who would least kill himself or have any longstanding mental illnesses. He looked like a humble and down-to-Earth guy. Even the testimonies from the fans and peers at TGWTG who met him showed no evidence of a disturbed person. I wish he seeked professional…
Back then, the Water Temple was difficult due to lack of visual cues to certain events and mechanics. That one key that was hidden below the level after playing around with the water is one major culprit. I remember it took me a long while to figure out the dungeon.
Yeah, I noticed that Random Encounter bar in the demo and wasn't sure what to make of it. Initially, I thought this was just part of the demo experience and the final game won't have it, but to have that flexibility in the final product is very ballsy. Alternating between grinding and exploring in your own pace is…
While I'm sure its gameplay is up to snuff, I personally couldn't get through the first few hours of FFX-2 due to its campy nature. That opening cinematic alone is telling of what's to come in the game. I may give it another go with the Remaster, but I don't think I'll continue playing it. I wish it took itself more…
Your opinions would've been a lot more valid if you've written this reply in the first place...as it provides more detail on what you consider as same-y. You came off as completely ignoring the exceptions in your initial replies and that's why I called you out on them (perhaps being too forward in the process, and for…
You're right. I agree with what you're saying, particularly when it comes to the mature space. Maybe they need to widen their appeal and get studios like Retro and Next Level to make for them some new IPs for mature audiences as Nintendo itself doesn't specialize in making such games.
You make a good point. However, their staple of franchises aren't small as you describe as they have a huge catalog of them which they cycle through depending on the ideas involved. Some of them they even tackle as new IPs at first then fit the franchise to it, Smash Bros, Kid Icarus Uprising, and Kirby's Epic Yarn…
Really now? Mario Bros. 2 NES is the same as Super Mario World 2 (both are 2D)? Super Mario Sunshine is the same as Mario 3D World (both are 3D)? Essentially the same gameplay, eh?
Whatever this is, it's sensationalism at its finest due to Nintendo's recent mishaps. We will not hear of any console news until the 3DS's lifespan is up, which is in another 4 years according to the traditional lifecycle of such electronics. Nintendo is not this stupid to allocate major resources to console…
