Yeah...Super Mario 3D World is the exact same game as the original Super Mario Bros. for the NES. And Zelda II is exactly like Skyward Sword. That's what you're essentially saying...and it's definitely absurd.

I understand promo deals that don't exclude opinions from them, but this Xbox One debacle really puts a sour taste in my mouth. They shouldn't have enforced YouTubers to talk positively about a product. If they gave the freedom to form opinions and critique, this wouldn't have been an issue.

Idiots. Let's see them go after Square-Enix's Saga series, which may be the first games in history to use the word Saga in the title.

Absurd and ambitious. Two words that come to mind when re-balancing chess. Then again, Sirlin did re-balance Super Street Fighter II Turbo in the form of HD Remix, a game I initially dug but the FGC from what I've read isn't into too much.

Like I said, the concept of time management is too enticing to pass up and from what I've seen the game looks to rectify XIII's shortcomings.

Wow, way to dampen my spirits, Silver. I intentionally left myself in the dark, relying on the trailers and preview for info. Now I'm kind of crushed. I have this on pre-order and I do want to give it a chance, but I'm not so sure anymore. The first XIII was a major blow of disappointment for me.

I got half way through XIII and just couldn't take it anymore. Too much exposition. Convoluted, uninteresting plot. I loathe Vanille. Its only saving grace for me was the battle system, but not enough for me to complete.

From the conversation posted, it sounds that he knows her very well, either in a very good friend or 'friends with benefits' capacity...hence why she scoffed off his vulgar banter and eventually assumed he was drunk. However, the last few lines, particularly the last paragraph...is very creepy and somewhat out of line

Say what you will about FFXIII, but I've been looking forward to this one. There's this Majora's Mask/Dragon Quarter vibe it has going with the time management which is very enticing. My problems are twofold: I haven't played XIII-2 and Bravely Default is coming out in the same month. I'm honestly looking forward to

Really? Outside of Japan?

When the WiiWare port was cancelled for US release, my interest waned. I'm thinking of checking the Steam version out with all this hype behind it. Best of luck to the team to make a sequel via Kickstarter, but I'm surprised that they can't get the budget for it from the sales of the original. I'm assuming that it

I now want to watch the whole movie with Brad Pitt digitally removed. It would be an interesting undertaking.

Hmmm....what words can I trademark for more money? How about the word Food? The word He? She?

This is actually a really innovative idea, Luke. I was going to suggest a similar one. A console/handheld hybrid in a form of a tablet or even smaller. Think of it as the Wii U tablet sold by itself without the need of the console base, with a sleek foldable design of course. This hardware would theoretically contain

It's a nice face-lift that's for sure. To be honest though, it's not as impressive as I initially expected. It's basically a cleaned up version of Final Fantasy X/X-2 with relatively the same assets scaled for the HD generation. Sure, a lot of HD remasters are like this and they're always appreciated to revisit or

This guy is a genius! All his animated crossover videos are pure gold. The amount of references to Nintendo and Star Wars are mind-blowing. I can't fathom how he planned all this and put in excellent animation and music to boot.

I rarely nerdgasm. This is one of those moments. Final Fantasy Tactics and Vagrant Story are some of my all time favorite games, particularly the latter. Yasumi Matsuno is an excellent designer with an incredible attention to detail in all aspects. Even though I didn't play or finish all his games and there may be

It's a very telling article and one of the most revealing ones yet. Props to Eurogamer and whoever wrote this.

I say keep the difficulty. It's part of why I love Yoshi's Island. Getting 100% will drive you mad but it's extremely rewarding. The extra levels in particular are brilliant, not to mention the exclusive GBA levels.

Now playing

Nintendo Direct first mentioned that Takashi Tezuka, director of the original Yoshi's Island, is working alongside Arzest, the new developers of this installment. Also, Arzest is comprised of former Artoon developers, who worked on Yoshi's Island DS.
