Short of having insanely overpowered characters and full demo progression before playing the retail game, is there any true benefit to doing that? Especially due to it being especially easy to checksum/restrict save import in the full game (if the devs care)?

I’ve just got the last few miracles and rare weapons left for platinum. It’ll take another run-through to get the alternate boss weapons (that’ll be ng+++), but I’m determined to finish it. You really do have to learn a lot about how the game is put together to get all the trophies.
