Yeah, I always wonder why people eat apples when there are oranges, too.

Don’t forget about this one!

“Oh yeah I totally prefer Super Soccer to Mother 2" Said no one, ever

This is the second WB game Injustice 2 has them too afaik.

It’s nonsense, the only reason to have these microtransactions in the game is to make more money on top of what they’re already making.

Here’s really all you need to know about it:

I think that’s what a lot of people will end up doing, honestly.

Just keep microtransactions out of single player games ... and let’s try to push them back in multiplayer games as well while we are at it.

The irony is if this were a mobile game, the complaint would be the P2W items are not powerful enough In this type of micro transaction game, the concept usually works ok if it’s P2W or P2Dress Up fancy. But Pay2 skip ahead 10 minutes but not really get anything valuable for your money, doomed to fail.

Man it’s getting harder and harder staying true to my beliefs. I want to play this game but I don’t want to support the greedy ass companies that do this kind of shit.

You’re also in the preview window. This may just be me being a horribly cynical person, but I wouldn’t put it past a company like WBI to turn the “free stuff” flow way down once the game goes live.

Or, if you don’t like [loot crates], just don’t play it, I guess.

The fact that all this exists is just a huge turn off even if you don’t need to purchase boxes with real money. Why does a game like this need that many currencies? It just makes it feel cheap. I’m not even taking a principled stance on them, I understand the need to make money, this just feels like a freemium model

I agree. The whole point of Iron Banner in D1 was a no holds barred, nonbalanced, bring your best slugfest. Now it’s just an ordinary Crucible match?

Between PvP not using power levels and PvE scaling everything up with you when your power level is higher than the minimum, I don’t know what the point of your power level is in Destiny 2 aside from a need to grind before you can do late game stuff.

Mike, question: as a gamer, I mean you know when something is absolute BS right? I think everyone is on the same page that this is some of the worst implementation of loot boxing going. And some of the worst value for money for customers.

So this thing I never hear from game journalists (and I am super open to being

If Forza 7 were free, then loot boxes would be a necessary evil. But loot boxes have no business being in a $60 game, and Forza 7 will be the first game in the franchise that I’m not buying.

So far I have absolutely enjoyed all of the Steamworld series. From Tower defense to Dig (1) to Heist, they have been a thoroughly enjoyable series of games. I cant wait to play Dig 2 and I really hope for a sequel to Heist as well.

Fuck. Why do you even need a gun. Do walls unnaturally upset you? Why you look like the Juggernaut chased Wolverine to the realm of Mad Max and started yelling about the afterlife being shiny and gold.

I bang with it.

Now I’d buy that for a dollar!
