I love pseudo-armchair developers like AllenRosevere.

“Just patch it in”

fuckin moron.

Hey Allen, here’s a question for ya:
Why are you in kotaku comment section when you could be JUST PATCHING IT IN?

Or, like, just GO BE A MILLIONAIRE. Just do it!

O B T U S E

remasters are done by third rate studios, just contract work, they couldnt care less.

This a total Fuck you to people. I played to originals with little issues when they were new but the remake just filled me with rage. Native Fortress alone caused me to put the game away and I bought it for my kids who don’t want tonplay because it’s no fun. That’s not a good sign if it annoys them away as they are

Alright, at least it’s not just me. I was having a hell of a time with timing jumps etc. I was like “WHY AM I DYING”...”I DON’T REMEMBER IR BEING THIS HARD!”. And now I know why...

“just patch in...” in this case probably means major rewrites of the game engine. that’s just not going to happen for all but the most incredibly supported games. I doubt that the Crash Bandicoot Remastered Trilogy falls into this category.

Game Devs: “Yea, fuck you.”

Seriously, just patch in an option for those who want a more classic physics response set. The problems their changes cause are not absolved by save points that should have existed in the original. Crash jumps like a heavy, wet, sloshy, turd in these remakes. The unintended movement shown in

I’d also like to point out that this was a focus of the Anti-Critics video that Dunkey made recently, when it started to be watched it probably prompted them to respond.

Destiny 2's beta is going to ruin my week. I’m excited.

Perhaps I’m too cynical but this seems fake to me. A game about a rouge AI has an ending the programmers didn’t account for? Right.

I was thinking the same thing. Now I want to play just to question it.

The AI has become sentient.

I don’t really think it is, not in this format at least.

I think this is a very nice and very considerate post. I’m sure piracy is going to further incentivize already iffy, hesitant and fearful Japanese developers to continue localizing their games out here in the west and particularly on PC. That certainly didn’t go wrong with the PlayStation Portable. Certainly didn’t

Exactly like in that one pivotal scene from The Hunger Games, DooM49's band of renegades refused to slaughter each other during a recent match, and instead poured hundreds of bullets into a single frying pan

This game looks incredibly interesting.

I love this game, it brings out the true beauty of human nature

Do you still have to smash pots in a certain order for the zodiac spear?

Someone tell the Pro-Lifers. They might fuck off from the UK and go back to America.

200+ ping — the way Quake was always meant to be played. If there was any justice in the world, deathmatch would be limited to 56k only.

Why do people care about cross-network play? PlayStation is already doing it. In Rocket League. With PC players. And what are the benefits? I can’t add PC players to my friends list. I can’t voice-chat in a party with them. I can’t group up in Rocket League with them. The only thing I can do, is create a private game
