I don't get why the actor who plays Jamie doesn't appear to have to dye his hair anymore and they insist on having her be so blonde.

If Khaleesi was taking on the machines it would be four movies before she even met one.

Also, to your point that Katniss technically doesn't kill other tributes, I take that as a sign that this is a young adult novel. You don't have your main characters kill people in young adult books. It's just not a thing.

In the third she assassinates President Coin.

She chooses to eat the berries. There's one thing she does completely on her own right there. And though the blog posts reads that the book doesn't allow her to make an irreversible decision...the fact of the matter is the author was writing a trilogy. She wasn't going to kill off her character in the first books.

Don't know if you've read the books or not. But I read the books so that's what I'm drawing my impression from. In the last book, she certainly participates directly in the resistance.

I don't consider Katniss "running and hiding" to be something to be ashamed of. It's a strength rather then a weakness in the Hunger Games. When there's a wall of fire burning down the damn playing field the right course of action is to run away from it. And she also uses her weapon when she needs to. And she

Whhhaaa this is a thing?

Kind of torn on this. I'd rather see a whole film about a strong women as a lead (Wonderwoman, Hunger Games) then just have more women in an ensemble cast. Don't know what role Daisy will play, but as long as she kicks ass and isn't a sex idiot I'm mollified until further notice.

I feel like his weird face is made for space. (sorry for the rhyme)

I'm so happy we got a Harry Potter actor in there! WO0t.

It's like—-Dany, call me when you're in Westeros, bitch. I don't wanna heaarr about it!

We just got a cat a few months ago and I regretted not seeing this episode before we could name her (she would be "miss pounce" though).

Sucks in the book, sucks in the show. I'm tempted to re-read the series and skip her chapters entirely.

Ha, thanks I guess. I just watch a lot of TV, and Dunham's writing is very predictable. :D

I haven't read any scripts, but I can take a stab at what happens:

Maybe part of the reason so many people in their 20s don't like their jobs is because Millenials had the whole "find your bliss" message shoved down our throats in the '90s. ADULTS implanted that in our heads. We didn't get there of our own accord. This was an idea that was marketed to us everywhere from teachers, to

You can say "this is fiction" in analyzing every work of fiction ever created. That's such a cop out.

The books are better at this then the film. In the books, Cersei is one of the most formidable characters in the series. She can hold her own with her father even, but in the show she's just presented as a mom who allows her son to treat her like crap.

This may have not been what the director thought would be a "major plot point" that needed to be vetted/co written with GRRM.
