But you said the Civil War wasn't inevitable.

Also diplomacy with the backdrop of violence is still diplomacy. Otherwise there would be no point in even speaking of it as such.
Sure but you seen to be emphasizing one aspect of a complex web of interdependent forces. Yeah violence has been a major factor historically. So has diplomacy. Your point that one is much more important than the other is dubious.
Is it true that violence has solved more issues than all other diplomacy combined? What if you consider diplomacy at least partially, or mostly, responsible for the fact that mankind hasn't nuked itself into oblivion in between 1945 and now?
Look, I'm NOT saying this should happen, but just think how crazy it would be if Johnny Depp murdered the president. Like imagine reading about that in the history books in 50 years. It would certainly be an unexpected twist! And at least, for his sake, people would be less likely to think about Alice in Wonderland…
Careful now. Add a rider that such people be processed into bootstraps and delivered to their children so that the little ones might have the opportunity to succeed and your policy might actually gain bipartisan support.
Yeah it's not blow your mind or anything. Fun little track tho.
The un-Lorde thing probably has something to do with it - and more specifically I think it's the complete absence of any percussion. That's not a total dealbreaker for me but it does make it an uphill battle for me to really care for a song, and especially a pop song. It's also a drastic departure from what I love…
Thank you for reminding me about her! I was just listening to her the other night but she had slipped my mind. Her new song Seeds is quite good. I was listening to one of her albums too and was liking it but can't recall which one.
Btw, on another topic, turns out Rubblebucket has been around for a bit and has a couple full length releases in addition to that EP from this year. Listening to their one from 2014 right now and it's pretty damn good! Definitely some quality genre-hopping pop. Lot of cool sounds going on.
Lol. I might actually make a playlist that is just the full album minus Liability and Liability (Reprise). Would be a huge improvement TBH.
Nothing to do with either of the artists you mention, but are you into this one?
Such a bummer about ILY2. : (
I really need to listen to more Stevie. I Was Made to Love Her is one of my favorite songs but I am unfamiliar with most of his stuff.
Adult Mom is cool. I saw them play at like a DIY show/house party a few weeks back. It was pretty rad.
The Louvre is good but the last minute is total filler. It also works better as part of the album than as a standalone. I think those first four tracks together are the strongest part of the album, even though Perfect Places is the best track (and Loveless would be if it was its own track).
Does that have anything to do with the Jimmy Cliff movie/soundtrack?
Marissa Nadler - Bury Your Name
Haha, Chapo is great. I recently got into that too and I feel the same way.
Similar to Carpenter Brut, if you haven't already heard him, I like Perturbator quite a bit. I Am The Night probably being my favorite of his albums.
