I have not! I tried searching for it but all the links say the video is private. I think CBS wants you to like go to their site and watch the full episode. They are the worst!
That's awesome! I guess I'll be seeing your friend play in May!
That probably has something to do with it. Totally agree about Your Best American Girl. I have to bite my tongue to keep from belting out the chorus like an idiot when I listen to it at work. In the car I totally just let loose tho.
Yes yes yes to Courtney, Angel, tune-yards, and Purity Ring. Need to listen to the others!
You should! I mean, I saw Angel Olsen on your list. Mitski often draws comparisons to her, somewhat unfairly as she's very far from a facsimile or derivative of, but I do think there's a reason the comparison gets made. I think liking one means a very strong likelihood of liking the other.
I guess I need to listen to them!

Isabelle Huppert's character in Elle.

Making soup with bullion would be an expensive pun.
Yes! If there is a guy with a guitar out there strumming chords and languidly talk/singing about death, we need to know about it damn it!
The ACLU is great. I am without a doubt a civil libertarian and I fully support all of the work they do. But their focus and impact is narrow.
That just makes me more curious! I mean, not curious enough to actually listen, but kinda.
Tical?
So maybe the AV Club can start reviewing music again?
