I’ve taken several figure-drawing classes with nude models, and the models have always been thin women... except once in college when the first model for a semester-long class was a man. After the first class meeting, most (all?) of the male students dropped the class.

would give anything for a rnb or rap video not to feature half naked women.

They’re all looking at the nudes.

If I had a dollar for every college guy who had a print of “The Kiss” on his wall because it was sooooo artistic and he just really appreciated the human formmmmmm...

Nope, not hot.

Now playing

Actually the remake of Devdas, starring Madhuri Dixit and Aishwarya Rai, sucks. It doesn’t come close to the original film, there’s a scene where Shah Rukh Khan’s character (Devdas) slashes Aishwarya’s characer on the forehead and tells her it’s so that she’ll have a mark of his love. It’s only popular because it was

I went to several art shows a while back that specialized in nudes... and 100% of the nudity was female. That’s when I realized that most people who fawned to me about their “appreciation of the human form” only wanted a classy way to see tits and ass.

I couldn’t agree more. I surround myself with what pleases me and as it turns out what pleases me are textiles, bright colors, and animals.

Where are the dicks?

Interesting and strange contribution.

This is true, but at someplace like a Marriott or Hilton you have people onsite to complain to and file a report with. If you’re just in someone’s apartment, the only oversight on the host is a website with staff hundreds of miles away. I’ll take established onsite management over the latter scenario any day.

Guess who’s probably getting audited this year? The Tax Man loves stories like this, and he’ll be looking to see if the Air BnB income is declared.

I did and a week or so later his profile was gone. Scared the shit out of me. I understand many people have had good experiences with the app, but with hotels there are established regulations and policies that make me feel much more at ease about occupying a stranger’s space.

i’m branded a weirdo all the time. I don’t use apps. I don’t use facebook. I don’t use Uber or anythign like it. Not so much because I’m against a sharing economy. I just don’t trust it. And I hate giving out personal information or allowing apps to track me. I do, however, like commenting on blogs.

You are much more likely to be assaulted by your airbnb host than your hotel manager. I say this as someone who has found all of my housing since 2001 on craigslist. So I’m not a technophobe. But, I know, from having worked in hotels, that its a very depersonalized relationship between manager and guest. Which is good

The sharing economy is one of the most dystopian things about the 21st century. People in the US see it as a new, shiny thing because it is cloaked in technology. And also because these startups have articulated the relationship between vendors and clients using the language of friendship.

I barely take cabs anyway, but I hate the ride-sharing model. When I have to take a car somewhere, I’d prefer it be someone with a hack license or is an employee, not an independent contractor. At least that way I feel like there’s SOME accountability.

Its almost like running totally unregulated hotels in private residences is a bad idea... Hmmmmm....

Without Murkowski and Collins standing firm all along, dealing with the bullying and attempted extortion from Trump and his minions, Maverick McBlowhard would have just been all talk as usual.
