Female legislators are usually the only competent ones. Somewhere I saw a study that says that female politicans are much more likely to say they got into politics to help others and because they had a specific policy concern. Men are more likley to say that it was a long time dream of theirs.

While many male republican senators have voiced displeasure and concern with the bill, the female senators have been the only ones to actually stick by what their constituents want. I’d say they are actually doing their jobs by not putting their party over their country.
