I love the cover art for those three books at the top of the post. Love it.

It’s kind of a non-issue since I can have a long-term relationship without getting married.
I think I’d prefer a nice abandoned cemetery in the middle of a forest somewhere off a rarely-used gravel road. If I were to ever get married it’d most likely be the minimalist and ultra-frugal Justice-of-the-Peace option, but this would tempt me...
“You can’t know the perfect crush too well, because if you do actually know them really well and still have a big crush on them, then the truth is: You don’t have a crush, my friend, you are in love. Sorry.”
There needs to be a way to get legally married in a way even more minimal than a trip to the courthouse. Say... do it online for $9.95.
This was debunked as an admitted fake a few days later.
I didn’t go to my prom. Just not my kind of thing. I don’t even recall being aware of it happening. It’s a big deal for some people, which is fine, but not at all for many others.
Well, I guess lying about your age is rebellious...
Do they have a dress code for men? Do they have to wear ties or jackets or anything? Do they have to wear formal dress shoes? Anyone know?
I loved the covers so much. In 2nd and 3rd grade I read all of the Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew books that existed. There were about 50 of each. My grade school library had them all and some of them were even the original, unrevised versions (it was a loong time ago).
It’s my favorite of the three. Tons of personal relevance in addition to everything else. I thought the fight scenes were not-so-good, but everything else was absolute gold.
I've been lucky enough to have never had any nasty breakups and my numerous exes (I'm old) are for the most part, a bunch of sweethearts who treated me well. I stayed friends with most of them at least for a while, sometimes until life took us in different directions. I didn't realize that this was unusual until the…
Oddly enough, I occasionally find long, dark hairs in my apartment, but I'm single, live alone, and no one with long dark hair has ever even been here, and the place was immaculate when I moved in six years ago...
Coming soon: actually getting legally married via a few clicks on Facebook.
Andrea, I'm always saddened to hear these kinds of stories, and I hear them way too often. I'm sorry that you and so many others have to deal with such terrible abuse.
It's quite true that there is no response that will guarantee you a civil reaction every time or even a majority of the time, which is unfortunate and I don't envy those who have to deal with it. My only point is that I've liked it when it happened to me personally. I'm not recommending women do anything other…
I don't blame women at all for trying to reject advances more gently than by just saying they aren't interested. Not one bit.
Oh wow, I just realized that Alex Ross Perry is the guy that directed and co-wrote The Color Wheel in 2011, which is quite perverse and twisted (and funny). Seems like a very odd choice by Disney... Maybe Pooh is finally going dark.
An adult Christopher Robin? To get the internet behind them on this, they’re going to have to cast a web-dreamboat like, say, Tom Hiddleston, or Benedict Cumberbatch, or Joseph Gordon-Levitt... lol
A lot of the comments I’ve been seeing are assuming this will be a musical with the songs from the animated film. It may very well be, but nothing like that was stated in the article. It may just be a straightforward drama/action adventure.
