My new MacBook Air's power button being right above the delete key and feeling the same as any other key is a poor design move. Especially combined with the lack of backlighting. Luckily the software just prompts you if you are sure you want to shut down the computer. If not for that I'd be pissed about it.

I thought in Texas, as long as you're within 3 feet of someone you are an implied imminent threat that can be shot. Even less if you are tanned skin. And if you give someone a dirty stare you are legally obligated to have a gun duel. Maybe my facts are just off.

Lmao, you put it better than I could have. I busted out laughing reading that.

Exactly. If they are on my property, in my home and I didn't invite them then they are an imminent threat regardless. Bye bye Mr. Robber, you picked the wrong home. That's the way it should be. Maybe I'd wait for him to finish his shower though.

Would you BLANK me?

I don't love glocks, but this would be sweet for home defense! I'd keep that right in my nightstand.

The point isn't necessarily about smooth browsing as it is the lack of tabs you can have open at one time. The main reason why I sold my iPad a few months ago was because I like having many tabs open simultaneously. More RAM allows more tabs in Safari on the iPad. Maybe some of that comes down to the coding of Safari,

Bender, think of the senoritas!!

Same here. Had the first one and sold it two months ago. Not sure if I need or want this in my life. My MacBook Air takes care of most of my portable needs. I was hoping for some preview into the next major iOS revision. Think at this point I'm gonna pass.

Well the quote was perfectly suited for the message of the film so who gives a crap. Wisdom is wisdom and that man has faced death repeatedly in his life.

Sir Steve Jobs... I'm betting that's how he's addressed as it is. At least on the Apple Campus anyway.

@babylost: Lol, is that a joke or do you just enjoy the campiness? I loved the series growing up and just kinda like the movie.

Bazinga!

I agree with you, that is probably the reason. But they can call it a Retina Display, or whatever else they can come up with, and then the average joe can start to care. Apple is the master of marketing terms. Even if it was a BTO.

I thought they were too. But owning one I wouldn't trade it for a 13" Macbook Pros screen if you paid me. I love the colors, resolution and lower glare on my new 13" Air. But at times the black levels are less than stunning, and I have seen blocking in fast motion. Gladly, I still would prefer this to the lower res

My main problem was that it just felt like nickel and diming. I mean part of the premium with Macs are the great software suite and the value in it all. Then they start charging a dollar here and dollar there testing to see how much they can get out of us. But apparently it's an issue of accounting. And they have to

I like it being magnetic. I never feel like it's going to accidentally open or anything. And it feels more elegant than a latch mechanism. Makes opening it easier also. Not like it's hard with a latch but just one less thing in the way.

I only play zoomed out. And I much prefer it on my old iPad compared to my iPhone. It isn't nearly as fun on my iPhone. Haven't tried it on the MacBook yet.

@Monty: The copper version is Thunder and then when they finally release the optical one we'll get Lightning. Clever Intel, clever. Ok not really.

This will be sweet. Wish they ripped off the new Palm feature where you can tap your device to the bezel to share. Like Avatar style.
